22oz bottle in a snifter. Pours black with a lacy, tan head. Aroma of a lot of coffee, roasted and chocolate malts, a little vanilla, and hints of hops. Flavor the same, with a good amount of coffee that blends with the rest of the beer really well. Smooth to thick texture. A really good beer. Idiosynkrasie (7967) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 15, 2013
650ml bottle. Pitch black colour with huge, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Dark malty aroma with a grainy touch, cocoa, chocolate, coffee, treacle, cautious hints of liquorice, soy sauce, basamico. Taste is moderately sweet dark malty, notes of cappuccino, grainy undertones, hints of treacle, later more dry notes with grainy coffee surrogate; constantly present subtle bitter hoppy addendum; soft and sticky palate, alleviating carbonation.
