on tap @ Growler & Gill. Served in a 12 oz. snifter. Poured a stunning clear red/orange with the tiniest of beige rings for a head. Brown sugar, vanilla, marshmallow, fruit and earthy hops on the aroma. Taste is sweet with out being over the top. More resinous hop flavor than the aroma would suggest. Warm on the tongue and in the gut. Full bodied. Very nice !!

On tap at Hops & Pie. Clear golden appearance with a beige head. Aroma of caramel malt, fruity esters, resinous hops and light citrus zest. Similar flavor, adding hints of bread, earth, toffee and rains. Moderately sweet and moderately bitter with a nicely balanced finish. Medium to full body. Solid.

Bottle. Hazy roan brown color with a big beige head that has very good retention. The aroma is medium in strength with woodiness and some caramel. The taste is a little bit boozy with other flavors following, I get pine, walnut and oak. The palate is full and smooth. Finish is long and a bit astringent. Overall: Decent--might benefit from aging, I don not know.

Tasted on tap at Quenchers in Chicago. It poured a partly hazy amber hue with a thin head and minimal streaky lacing. Hop and alcohol the nose and the buds. This is one high octane little number. It was described to me as a quad IPA, so I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did. A tasty brew, but defiantly not for the faint of heart as a 10%er.

Thanks Joel! Bomber. Poured clear, fiery reddish-orange with a short-lived head. The aroma picked up sweet caramel, molasses, and fruity notes topped by a hefty dose of orange-based hops.. a touch peppery and boozy on the back of the nose, but very nice. The flavor found syrupy caramel, honey, and lesser molasses on the tip of the tongue with fruity and peppery bitterness laced throughout.. finished spicy and warm, but well-balanced. Heavier-bodied with low-moderate carbonation.. good feel and flow.. really good stuff!
