Bottle, no wax, this must be a later batch. Pours an opaque black with a huge head. Very light bubbly mouthfeel, surprisingly. Smells strongly of vanilla. Tastes similar with a bit of pepper heat....not an overt heat, but it is there. Decent beer. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 14, 2013
(22oz bomber) near black, tan bubbles. Nose of lactose, spices, light herbs, cocoa nibs, bits of alcohol. Taste of raisin, lactose, spices, a bit spicy, well carbonated, medium sweet but dry. burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - SEP 2, 2013
Bottle shared, poured a black color with aromas of chocolate, light chillies, vanilla, and some earth. Flavirs light milk chocolate with some light spice. Had a nice miuthfeel, solid stout overall. mnmike (1086) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Bottle from a trade. Slightly misses the mark in my book - but a good beer. A little thin on the palate, but the sweetness lingers. beechner224 (1024) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - AUG 23, 2013
Poured from the bottle. Color is pitch black with minimal head. Aroma is roasted coffee and chocolate. Taste is strong coffee and heat comes through as it warms up. Very nice stout.

As it warms some aromas of chili come out with some hints of cocoa. Pour is medium brown, slightly translucent. After letting it warm, initial flavor of coffee and then follows with some heat from the chiles. Slight amount of heat in this one, not overpowering but very well balanced and very enjoyable. Bottle. Pours black. Nice pepper on the nose, fairly thin and dry. decent offering. Bacterial (2999) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - AUG 16, 2013
Dark black pour, fairly thin. Lots of carbonation, nice tan head. Chocolate and chili in the nose, and again in the taste. Sweet, but not overbearing. Quite nice. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Bomber shared with friends at Sybarite Pig. Red Wax, not sure what batch. This one was a slight gusher and possibly infected. The milk lactose flavor was a tad sour which sort of ruined the experience for me. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 8, 2013
22 oz bottle. Dark brown with tan froth. Nose is coffee, chocolate, vanilla bean and light chili. Medium to full body with a tang and building spicy heat. Taste is chocolate, vanilla and caramel. The cinnamon adds a sweet note transitioning nicely to the bite of the ancho. All the ingredients play a part with none too dominant, the cinnamom less so. Cool brew.
