Batch 299 302. Interesting. Brown and clear with a good nose but not sure how to describe it. Carmel maybe. Thick body and sweet flavor with vanilla and molasses and a hint of coffee. Unique... truly.
Bottle. Clear amber with no head. Aroma of toasted, coffee, Vanilla, chocolate, lacto-milk. Heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Alcoholic notes. Medium and oily. Special but interesting. Plovmand (8621) - Grindsted, DENMARK - NOV 10, 2017
Bottle. It pours clear amber with a creamy off white head. The aroma is overripe fruity with a good malty kick. Vanilla and cocoa. The flavour is chocolate, vanilla, light coconut, a whiff of coffee and ripe fruit. Barley wine like malty backbone. I really had my doubts on this but Pipeworks delivers as usual. yoxik75 (198) - Wroclaw, POLAND - NOV 10, 2017
Piana jak z coli syczy i opada do krążka. Kolor mętne złoto (styl to stout!!!). Aromat, laktoza, czekolada mleczna a nawet biała, kakao, kawa, wanilia, estry owocowe jak w BW truskawki poziomki. Smak, kawa, czekolada, wanilia, kakao, dębina, do tego estry owocowe, laktozowa słodycz. Pełne, umiarkowanie słodkie, goryczka średnia do niskiej zauważalna, alkohol ułożony ledwie wyczuwalny. Piwo dziwne jak mało które, posiada cechy stoutu i BW,
smaki się bronią, grają ze sobą można się doszukiwać niuansów. Ciekawe, udane, Bardzo Dobre. PotjeBier (3734) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 10, 2017
Draft @ Rattle n Hum East (as part of a flight). light hazy, amber color. Off white head, not much. Aroma's: from the glass it's mainly sweet fruit. Retronasal it's roasted, ground coffee, fruity, sweetish, a bit alcoholic, herbs. Flavor is moderate sweet, fruity, ground coffee. Medium bodied. Mainly fruity finish. I wonder why this should be dubbed a stout, it's mainly a barley wine with adjuncts. Quite nice though. Nsanders (1172) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - OCT 2, 2017
Tap at Kuma' s Corner. Amber color with a thin white ring. Malt powder, powdered sugar, vanilla wafers, light wood, and light roast coffee aromas. Very sweet with only a light dryness to counter. Medium body with a sticky feel.

Bottle at beerlovers bar 1st anniversary birthday party. thnx to Vincent for sharing ! Pours dark, clear amberblonde. Smell is spiced. Taste is mild spice, hidden coffee. touch of roast. no real Vanilla / Cocoa to me. I did get a very, very strong apple taste, in a complex manner reminding of apple brandy/calvados, but not as boozy. very unique taste ! fonefan (51092) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAY 3, 2017

Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, toasted, coffee, sweet malt, vanilla, light lacto - soured milk. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, lacto, coffee, toasted, chocolate - vanilla notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic.
Bottle: Thanks Joes: Served in a taster:
Almost clear chemical orange body. Hardly a head...
Nose of coffee crush, mocha, marzipan, light roast, alcoholic...
Flavour is mily/lactose, sweet, bitter, alcohol, milk chocolate, chocolate, mocha.... sweet..
Aftertaste is sweet lactose, chocolate, bitter...
Low carbo, creamy silky mouthfeel, strange medium bodied.
Strange but decent... Benzai (16682) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - APR 6, 2017
Bottle @ Joes shared by Joes. Clear somewhat amber-ish color, small off-white head. I only get lightly malts, chocolate, vanilla, light coffee and mocha in the aroma. Which is awesome! Taste lightly malts, vanilla, mocha, chocolate, sugary, milk chocolate. After a while though it gets more and more sugary to a point where it gets too much. Still though, decent. Head dissipated in an eyeblink, still good carbonation in hazy orange-amber beer. ??? Carrots...???, ginger, clay, herbs... Maybe a whiff of cacao, sniffing very well... Vanilla very prominent in the taste (ouf!! Thought already I had an erroneously filled bottle). Sweet, bit of alcohol (-sweetness and -warming). After a while, indeed again cacao and even milkchocolate. Feels pretty carbonated; quite slick to oily, at least medium bodied. Not only it’s weird, puts one utterly on the wrong foot, but foremost, I’m getting seriously nostalgic to the times when breweries called their beers "stout", "bitter", "wit"... Hey Careful Men, There’s a Beverage Here! White Russian Imperial Milk Stout. SERIOUSLY?!
