From notes. 22 oz bottle brought and shared with Doug at his house on February 22. The pour is a dark, dark brown with a light brown colored head that froths up pretty decently. As it falls down to a collar, there is no lace to be found. The aroma is pretty decent. There is a big coffee and chocolate that I was hoping would be there. It’s got a light vanilla, and a ton of lactose. This actually reminds me of Kroger chocolate milk. I like it. I mean, it’s somewhat what they’re looking for, but it’s a little messy. The flavor is very similar. There is a huge milky sweetness up front to go with a lighter vanilla and a hint of cocoa on the back end. There is a good coffee and roasted malt thrown in there to mix it up a touch. It’s interesting, and just like the nose, it’s a little messy. The mouth feel is a little light, but has a nice soft carbonation. The aftertaste is lingeringly milky and heavy in the coffee. There is a light cocoa and it’s pretty decent. I was happily surprised by this one. Well done. Niko100 (2995) - Chicago, New York, USA - FEB 7, 2016

650ml bottle from Beer Bazaar shared across the group on Christmas Eve. Milk stout for certain - thick and lactose-y. Caramel. Cocoa. Some vanilla, but the cottage cheesy lactose became cloying. 13.5 ebone1988 (2126) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - DEC 16, 2015
Aroma is slight vanilla, chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, a touch of booze which is weird, lactose. Appearance is dark brown, light brown head, poured thin. Taste is lactose, a nice mix of vanilla and chocolate, followed by coffee and roasted malt. Mouthfeel is slightly thin, medium body but soft carbonation, lingering aftertaste. Overall, it’s pretty good. Terminus (3716) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 5, 2015

Pours pitch black with a very small fizzy tan head around the rim of the glass. Nose of coffee, vanilla, roast, char, sweet baking chocolate. very nice. Flavors exhibit most of the roast char and baking chocolate. Some lite coffee long after the finish, but its not that pronounced. The vanilla beans are MIA if you ask me. Long coca, vanilla, and slightly roasty finish. very nice! arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 2, 2015
Pour out of 22 oz bottle, dark black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of big coffee, dark fruit, and espresso bean into a bit of caramel, toffee notes and slight smoky tones. Taste was a mix of coffee, dark fruit, dark chocolate, hints of caramel, finishing fairly sweet, slightly roasted. djd07 (15547) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 11, 2015
Bottle. Pours a dark brown with small tan head. The aroma is strong roast coffee and cocoa. Medium mouth with flavors matching the nose, lingering dry finish, good.
