Canned 02/02/16, 8% ABV. Pours hazy straw/orange. Aroma is just bursting with peach, mango, pineapple, bit of resin, bit of dankness. Really good. Wow, flavor is juicy mango, tangerine, apricot, peach. Absolutely brilliant. I expected something good, and I got it. This is excellent. Slightly floral, slightly earthy, pine and hops come through, its just all there. Decent mouthfeel, nothing insane, but very pleasant. Great beer.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2016 Can. Aroma is full of sweet tangerines, citrus and grapefruit. Taste is awesome. A deep, sweet base of peaches and apricots accentuated with citrus and pine on top. Mid-dry and bitter finish. Superb beer. Re-rate 20161012: Upping the ante here, this mofo is stellar! Superfresh can, and Im out of words.

On tap at Bigbys Pour House in Addison, IL., and snifter served showing a hazed, orangey gold color, with a persistent, fingers width of frothy, white head foam, and curtainy/sheet-like lacing. The nose was slightly dank, with expressive pine & grapefruit, and a bit of tropical scent. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, and appropriate alcohol presence, the taste added a touch of mellowing, malt sweetness, and a lingering, pronounced, citrusy & rind-like bitterness. An excellent DIPA with all the right moves.

Can from my untapped bud, Rob. Thanks a ton, man! This was poured into a snifter. The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow to almost orange color. A light filmy white head maintained a nice level look to it. Filmy white lacing. The smell had some sweet grapefruit up front with a nice sweet danky onion coming in and rounding out really nicely. Light pine as it warms. The taste was present with the sweet danky onion flowing into the grapefruit with a light pine underneath. Aftertaste is dry and semi-bitter. On the palate, this one sat about a medium in body with a crisp dry sweet feel laying down on my tongue. Bitterness feels nice and dry on my tongue. Overall, hot damn, what a nice DIPA that comes across nice and dry.
