Bottle, courtesy of a kind soul... shared in a location remote of my dining room. italianjohn (3281) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 5, 2015
Pours basically black with a small head and nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma has a nice roasty character all around, it’s a little boozy and even sort of floral at times. It’s got a nice orange zest & cocoa thing going on for sure.
The flavor offers plenty of sweet on bitter balance. It’s got some orange zest, peel, & flesh for sure the chocolate element tends towards a dark chocolate so it’s nicely bitter. The booze is well controlled for sure.
I’ve not had one of these Abduction beers yet that isn’t pretty fun.
Black pour with a thin beige head .... Aroma of orange peel, roasted malts and dark chocolate ..... Taste of orange peel, roasted malts, dark chocolate and vanilla cream .... Has a slight bitter and booze to it .... Not my favorite of the series but half decent mikem409 (2029) - bloomfield, Michigan, USA - FEB 1, 2015

650ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, frothy, booming diminishing, reawakeable, minimally lacing, tan head head. Roasty, dark malty aroma with zesty orange notes, hints of dark chocolate, cococa, alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet, chocolately dark malty, notes of orange, orange zest, orange praliné, bitter blood orange; long lasting, mild, moderately sweet, chocolately finish. Minimally sticky palate, oily texture. maxodom (47) - - JAN 8, 2015
pours a thin thickness with dark color and a little head that quickly evaporates. You get the orange taste and a little coffee, though not a ton. overall good but nothing special GlasgowTAD (1986) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JAN 8, 2015
Pours deep brown with a large light brown head which fizzes away after a few seconds into a faint lacing around the glass. Aroma is citrus and raisins. Taste is initially cocoa, then a tart orangey kick which leads to a pleasant roasty finish. Full bodied with slight to moderate carbonation. berntholer (1619) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - DEC 31, 2014
