Lightly hazy gold beer with a small white head. Palate is light, airy and dry. Fine carbonation. Dry thin malt. Nice black pepper, aromatic and flavoursome without too much heat. Light citric hops provide contrast. Finishes light and dry. Could be a very nice beer with a bit more body.
Bottle. Hazy golden amber color, medium white head. Nice aroma of black pepper, ginger, spice. Taste is peppery spiced citrus and flowers. Very tasty. Beerhunter111 (20460) - P´Castle, GERMANY - APR 18, 2014

Bottle. Pours semi cloudy gold with big white fluffy head. Nose/taste of peppercorn, yeast, citrus, florals, lemon and orange zest, coriander and ginger root. Finishes dry peppercorn/ginger root and spicy hops. Medium body. Tmoney99 (14455) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 23, 2013
Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus, floral, ginger, red peppercorn and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy spice citrus flavor with a medium to heavy spice sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectation where exceeded.

(22oz bottle) Pours a clear yellow body with a medium fizzy white head. Aroma of ginger, pepper, coriander, and mustiness. Flavor of rye, yeast, peppercorn, lemongrass, earth, and orange peel. crossovert (12874) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 25, 2012
Much spicier than its counter part. It isn’t hot spicy or mouthnumbing. It uses the Sichuan sparingly. I would have liked it to be a bit bolder. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 25, 2013
from Erzbierschof - hazy pale orange beer with a persistent little head; estery aroma, citrusy and peppery, highly carbonated and with a solid malt backbone; pretty dry, salty, peppery and gently bitter; long spicy and fruity finish with a lingering sharpness - original and very interesting j12601 (11571) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours a hazed gold with a huge white head. Beautiful nose, lovely yeast, spicy pepper, and even the ginger makes an appearance. This smells awesome. Medium bodied, spicy pepper up front, nice black pepper, spicy yeast. Moves to a lingering black pepper feel on the finish, another faint touch of ginger. This is lovely. Well done guys. alexsdad06 (10376) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 24, 2013
22 oz. bottle shared with the local group (Jan 17, 2013). Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a big fluffy white head. The aroma has some orange citrus with peel, pink peppercorn spice, herbal notes, a splash of ginger and pale malts. The flavor is very peppery highlighting the pink peppercorn, light fruity, some orange citrus, herbal, mild funk, grass, lightly toasted malts, and a hint of ginger. Interesting, but kind of all over the place.
