Bottle... Pours cloudy and golden with a frothy, long-lasting, white head. The aroma features fruity esters and spicy phenols, accompanied by spicy and earthy peppercorns. Medium-bodied with stinging carbonation. The flavor delivers peppery warmth and clove-like spiciness layered upon a biscuity, malty backbone. Perfectly balanced. Finishes bready and bitter - bread crust. Bottle shipped to me by BBB63! kbudd19 (1019) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 14, 2014
Bottle from Tom10101. Nice cloudy yellow pour with plenty of white head and lacing. Aroma is citrus, spices, fruity esters and a bit of sticky sweetness. Taste is sweet fruit up front, followed by honey, middle is slightly bitter, medium mouthfeel, semi dry finish with a mild hint if pepper. Not bad, not typical of the style, it’s a bit on the sweet side and I don’t really get any pepper, but it’s for sure interesting.

On tap at Mash Tun Festival 2013. Hazy golden with a white head. Nose is of pepper spice, flowers, pale malts, and earth. Flavor is a bit spicy as well with notes of wood, herbal hops, grass, earth, and peppercorn. A pepper saison? No thanks. jjgmd (2215) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - JAN 28, 2014

Sample from batch #40 at Kurtkeller 004: Pipeworks-tastic 01 on 01/18/2014. The beer is a slightly cloudy yellow-gold color with a medium off-white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of peppercorns, yeast and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of peppery yeast, toasted malt and citrus. The finish is fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Decent overall. rxeight (3188) - Illinois, USA - JAN 11, 2014
Batch 151. Aroma is a very zesty lemony farmhouse. Touch or Belgian yeast. Taste starts golden Belgian single and finishes with a lemon and pepper burst. Lots of carbonation. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - AUG 24, 2013
22 oz. bottle. It pours a cloudy light yellow/orange color with a massive white head. The aroma is wheat, orange, apricots and some pepper. Not as peppery as I was expecting. The flavor is on the sweet side with orange marmalade, dried apricot and lots of pepper. Wheat backbone with lots of effervescence. Nice but a bit cloying. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - AUG 20, 2013

Bottle from West Lakeview Liquors. Batch 152. A glowing golden-orange color pours out of the bottle with a nice thick fluffy white head. A firm layer sticks around for the long haul. Really enjoy the aroma here; soft yeast and straw pair well with fruity notes of apple, pear, and strawberry. Light pepper mixes in as well as floral notes, that’s initially restraint until this breathes a bit and a stronger rose scent comes out. Lively in the mouth with cracker, yeasty, and floral sweetness. A light touch of fruity esters, yeast, straw, and rose peddles provide this with some good depth. Dry and peppery finish with plenty of floral sweetness hanging around. Refreshingly light despite the abv with a really good balance of sweetness from flowers, fruit, and crackers and dry, spicy notes from the Peppercorns. Yep, good one.
