Pale orange pour with a white head. Lots of pepper, bread, and cracker. Somewhat cheesy, a touch of citrus zest, yeast, and some coriander. The flavor is lightly sweet with some bread and cracker malt notes. Lots of pepper, some lemon zest, orange, coriander, and yeast. jandd1983 (4330) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Sampled at DLD 2013. It poured a hazy pale yellow with a white head. The aroma was of light spice with sweet grain and a hint of light red fruits. The taste was of sweet grains, light spice, peppercorn and light fruits with Belgian yeast and slightly bitter grass. Very good. Tmoney99 (14484) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 7, 2013
Bottle shared by beerpig317. Poured a hazy pale copper color with an averae frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate pepper, lemon and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy spice sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. I shared this with friends. DC tasting thanks to noodleuser. Hazy tan yellow body. Sweet, but very true to style, belgo mouthfeel. Excellent, really well executed. Fruity and big yeast esters. Really mile with the peppercorn. Nice!

Sample from bottle at the FoBAB documentary party. Very nicely malty with a little bit of spice, although I totally missed the peppercorns. Instead, I thought the taste was very savory like a good Belgian beer. Touch of funk. A lot of yeast swirled up from the bottom. shrubber85 (11408) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JAN 5, 2013
Bottle. Strong pepper and malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with minimal head - a couple chunks of pepper floating around. Strong pepper and light barley malt flavor. Medium body. I’m not particularly a pepper fan so not a beer I would want very often but really a decent beer - if you love pepper (spice), definitely one for you. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Bottle - Batch 40. Very lactic, light funky yeast, sweet fruity citrus aroma - pepper not really apparent in the nose. Cloudy straw color with a large white head. Peppercorn, funky yeasty malt, grassy, and sweet lactic flavor. Light to medium body, dry finish. Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 27, 2012
Shared by noodleuser. Thanks man!
The beer is hazy and golden yellow with a soft white head. The aroma brings fruity esters, earthy tones, yeast, bread dough, light spice. The peppercorns emerge more as the beer is allowed to warm. Light sweetness with freshly cut grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A tasty beer and solid example of the style. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 24, 2012
