3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz poured into snifter. Aromas of yeast and some citrus hops. Mouthfeel medium. Taste of hops and yeast. Complex. Alcohol barely detectable for 9%. Very nice
Bottle... Pours hazy and dirty-orange with a small, fizzy, white head. Great retention. The nose is a fruity blend of orange marmalade and red apple. Full-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor is quite sweet, but equally bitter. The hops, malts, esters and phenols don’t play together nicely here. Finishes bittersweet, but far more sweet than bitter. Thanks to BBB63 for supplying the bottle! zgaier (1951) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAY 12, 2014
Pours a hazy orange with an off white head and aroma of yeast and hops. Taste is of Belgain yeast, hops, spices, and fruits with a spicy, bitter finish. jjgmd (2162) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAY 12, 2014
Pours a dark burnt orange color with a decent head. Nose is fruity, sweet and hoppy. Taste is bittersweet but more towards the bitter side, with hoppy, citrus and deep piney notes. Finish is bitter as well with a moderately long citrusy piney resinous ending. Quaff Score 7 / 10 swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JAN 25, 2014

Sampled at esbls. Hazed golden. A funky odd foam that resembles clouds. Big malts and lighter citrus in the aroma. Tartness than expected. Big malts. Tangerine and more fomplexity in the hops. Big alcohol.

Bottle. Not really sure what the style is suppose to be. Taste upfront is an IPA but its mixed with some Belgian. Smooth, creamy and overall solid. 914sig (7) - New York, USA - JUN 3, 2013 does not count
exactly is what it is, to the fullest flavor. Looks like a Belgian when its poured, and sits perfectly in the glass with a nice white head. For 9 ABV it goes down smooth. Truly one of my favorites Boothead (26) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Aroma is light and hard to pin down. Coppery in pour. Sweet taste with bitter aftertaste. Oily on the palate. I’d like to like it more, but the taste is not my favorite. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Muddy amber with whispy, creamy off-white head, light legs / Big 2ipa nose of pine, citrus, caramel, weed / Full body, malty with biting hops, some sweetness, big, bitter finish / Rich, but somewhat cooked flavors of grapefruit, orange peel, cut pine, soap, caramel, chamomile / Not picking up any Belgian aspect - my guess is that the big hops overwhelm any Belgian subtleties, but a decent double ipa. ccex (1313) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Bomber pours a hazy golden orange with small white head and slight lacing. Aroma has lots of apricots, Belgian yeast, pine resin, and some citrus hops. Taste is slightly bitter with some sweet malts in the middle and a long dry finish. Body is medium with light carbonation. Mouthfeel is sticky, with alcohol very well hidden. Another delightful one from Pipeworks.
