Outstanding. A more-or-less perfect DIPA. Terrific hops, sticky resin-y, no annoying maltiness fucking it all up. Completely excellent. crossovert (13417) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 28, 2013
UPDATED: APR 29, 2013 Jsut about everything you could ever want or need in a simcoe ber. Tongue slashing bitterness, huge citrus and pine, incredible. Now they just gotta make an amarillo blen, or a mixture of citra and simcoe.
Full bottle review-
650 ml ottle. Amber pour, nice white head. INstant smell of the sweet, almost nougaty scent of the base beer carrying a massive overload of sticky, tropical, piney, resinous, citrus hops. The flavor is an unyilding barrage of citrus and tropical fruits, pine, and resin. Medium to high bitterness, total cohesiveness. Awesome. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - OCT 22, 2013
Bottle sampled at a tasting event. From notes. Loads of lemon and orange citrus with a decent caramel malt backbone. Another pipeworks homerun. CraftBeerLvr41 (82) - Illinois, USA - JAN 29, 2014
A: Dark orange color, hazy with little sediment. Two fingers of creamy fluffy off-white / light tan colored head.
S: Amazing aroma on this. Pine hops, grapefruit, candy like fruit, mango, some dank. Hint of plastic.
T: A lot of piney grapefruit, floral. Some dankness.
M: Dry and crisp (love that) with some resinous hop bitterness and just a hint of alcohol warmth on the finish.
O: Love Pipeworks, Simcoe and Citra are my favorite Ninja’s so far. Love going to Binny’s weekly seeing what goods they come out with.

This is m ywheelhouse type of IPA. Orange cloudy pour from 22oz bottle from CRAFT. Delicious floral, grass, citrus, vanilla aroma. Taste is medium bitterness, heavy hops, tropical and grapefruit with a lingering aftertaste. LOVE IT. Love Pipeworks.

Pours cloudy amber thick and unclear with a white head. Aroma and flavor bring huge sweet skunky and piney weed notes that longer with a maltiness as opposed to dry bitterness. The hops are still dominant and delicious. TattooJack (518) - Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2016
Poured from the bomber, cloudy glowing orange amber, foamy. Taste is spicy, sticky pine resin, smooth (not boozy at all considering), I should have bought 2. Christpuncher (3188) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 5, 2014
Love this imperial ipa from pipeworks really strong grapefruit and hopps. Easy to drink and refreshing. Had this one at bad apple.

Bomber shared with Zach and Brandon, pours a dark amber orange color with a very small head. Nose is fresh squeezed grapefruit, deep sweet delicious citrus. Taste is bitter sweet citrus with strong pine and resin, delicious. Finish is bitter sweet as well, with a moderately long citrus resinous finish. Great DIPA ! Super fresh bottle, hazy gold pour. I’m guessing this one is so much better than older releases juDging by rates. Notes of dank simcoe, tropical fruit, light malt, and pine. Excellent ipa from Pipeworks.
