Bottled. Cloudy orange. Has a citrus hop smell. When drinking it has a light body and the hop taste comes out afterwards. Has a piney hops and the after taste is grate fruity.

22 ounce bottle. Mellow flavors of citrus and pine. Not sure how old the bottle is, but was still good.

Color is rich, slightly hazy gold with a velvety head about one finger thick. Strong, clean hops smell -- tropical fruit, pineapple, just a hint of alcohol warmth. Taste is fruity, tangy with some peppery notes and a lot of savory dill/onion flavors too. Sticky body, bittersweet finish. Interesting IPA and another solid offering from Pipeworks.

Bottle shared with Dany, Rudy, Eric, and my wife at Be Bap in Montreal. Pours a hazed amber with a medium sized white head. Big spicy herbal hops on the nose, warming alcohol, sticky malt, light oxidation. Medium bodied, caramel, warm alcohol, toffee. Not sure if this is old or just too malty, but it gas a bit short for me. Long oxidized malt and light grapefruit bitterness.

Shared bomber poured to snifters, showing a cloudy, orange color, with a modest layer of off white head foam, and spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was dank yet floral, citrus as grapefruit & lemon, some resin, with a bit of earthy greenery. The taste proceeded with a similar profile, adding a little spiciness, some booze, dryness, and hop bitterness that was citrusy & rind-like, with decent lingering qualities, in a medium body. Nice, but more as an Imperial 101,... except for the abv.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a large foamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of cheesecake, pale malt, cheddar, spicy, herbal hops. The taste is citrus, herbal, resin hops, pale malt, cheese. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mild lingering bitterness, mild heat, creamy texture.

Pours cloudy golden with about a finger of thick white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, light mango and tropical fruit, some orange peel in there as well. Taste is fairly big and bold bitter, pine like, with a lingering grapefruit bitter finish. Body is surprisingly light, smooth and creamy with soft carbonation.

This is a great big ole IIPA that tastes like a great big ole IPA. It is cloudy orange golden w/ a long-lasting head of fine bubbles. The most interesting thing about this stuff is it has a really strong dill quality from the hops--most likely the Sorachi Ace specifically. It is otherwise pretty much spot on for the style: not too sweet, strong, full bodied, mild carb and very much hop focused. The hop character in the nose could be a bit more vibrant on this is my one complaint but this definitely has a solid hop flavor. It is relatively drinkable given its high alcohol content as well though there is a bit of burn on the back of the throat. Overall, I’d call this solid but not excellent.
