Bottle. Batch 32. Released yesterday. Pours hazy golden with white head. Perhaps a bit darker or hazier than NvU. Aroma of lemon lime, bubblegum, spruce, and lychee fruit. Flavors are sprucy, mango, resiny, lychee, lemon, lime, some caramelly notes add sweetness, and a bit spicy finish, seemingly a spicy Belgian yeast profile but I think thats sorachi, I think that a belgian yeast could really work here. Getting some booze on the back end. Seems to lack enough bittering hops. Fermented well. Clean, crisp, somewhat syrupy sweet finish. Really tasty and well made. I love sorachi but Im not sure its perfect for the iipa. This beer wins on allowing the hops to be the show and showcasing a unique hop like sorachi. Some tweaking and this would be insane.

Poured from 2 bombers, Im a sucker for a 10% IPA, especially one with a depiction of a tattooed carnival leprechaun holding weed on the label. Its spicy, piney, creamy, boozy, sticky, & probably 2 more of the 7 dwarfs, did I mention its 10%?!

Bomber. Pours cloudy golden with thick off white head. Aroma is sweet malty happiness. Taste is sweet honey piney hops with a alcohol bitter hop finish. Pretty good but not my favorite pipeworts beer.

Draught at Fools Gold, NYC. Clear golden beer with a beautiful lasting offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, pine, grapes, citrus, some medicine. Hoppy citrus flavor, grapefruit, medicine, floral notes. Cough medicine finish. 8 dollars for a 8 oz pour. So not worth it!

Great hop-filled IPA. Nothing special from an elite standpoint but still awesome for hop lovers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light hazy rust orange. A citrus citrus and floral hop aroma with lemongrass and pine. A strong fruity flavor with floral hops and pine. A sweet flavor but with a strong bitter hop aftertaste.

@ Basunen 16-2-27: Lite smrig doft och smak. Tydlig frsk med en staktig jordgubbston. Lite strande smrton.

On tap at Local Option. Hazy golden with a small white head. Fresh and hoppy with pine, grapefruit, light grass and some warming alcohol. The finish was bitter.

22 ounce bottle. Mellow flavors of citrus and pine. Not sure how old the bottle is, but was still good.

Color is rich, slightly hazy gold with a velvety head about one finger thick. Strong, clean hops smell -- tropical fruit, pineapple, just a hint of alcohol warmth. Taste is fruity, tangy with some peppery notes and a lot of savory dill/onion flavors too. Sticky body, bittersweet finish. Interesting IPA and another solid offering from Pipeworks.
