Hazy gold - amber beer. Good pale cream coloured head. Palate is soft with fine carbonation providing a mild sting. Lovely soft fruity hops - floral tangerine, peach, mild orange and a little sweet pine. Finishes soft and airy with hops staying soft and fruity. Dangerously drinkable!
Draught at Fools Gold, NYC. Clear golden beer with a beautiful lasting offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, pine, grapes, citrus, some medicine. Hoppy citrus flavor, grapefruit, medicine, floral notes. Cough medicine finish. 8 dollars for a 8 oz pour. So not worth it! jtclockwork (16855) - , New Jersey, USA - NOV 14, 2012

Bottle - Very sweet candy floss aroma. Clear orange with a white rich head. Orange, lemon and resin with a huge sweet malt backbone. The Sorachi gives it an interesting twist. djd07 (15281) - Houston, Texas, USA - SEP 26, 2013
Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy white head that lasts leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is pine and resin hop. Medium mouthfeel with a dry bitter hop and very bitter finish. Alcohol hidden well, a very good IIPA from Pipeworks.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a large foamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of cheesecake, pale malt, cheddar, spicy, herbal hops. The taste is citrus, herbal, resin hops, pale malt, cheese. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mild lingering bitterness, mild heat, creamy texture. crossovert (13413) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 25, 2012
Slightly hazy gold pour. The smell is mild but pleasant. Some mile malt notes and some tropical hops. The flavor is pleasant, but again not overpowering. It drinks like a pale ale. The malt is there, the hops are a medium to low bitterness. It is citrusy, btu the malt steals the show in a good way here. It isn’t sweet and malty but something about the malts are just pleasant. It is tasty. Don’t drink it cold though, best around 50-60 degrees. It wont wow your palate or pummel you on the first sip, but it is pleasant. Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 19, 2014
Sample from batch #229-231 at Kurtkeller 004: Pipeworks-tastic 01 on 01/18/2014. First of all, great name/theme. The beer is a bright orange color with a thick frothy off-white head that dissipates slowly. Sticky latticework of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of pithy grapefruit, hops and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall. j12601 (12973) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - DEC 27, 2014
Bottle shared with Dany, Rudy, Eric, and my wife at Be Bap in Montreal. Pours a hazed amber with a medium sized white head. Big spicy herbal hops on the nose, warming alcohol, sticky malt, light oxidation. Medium bodied, caramel, warm alcohol, toffee. Not sure if this is old or just too malty, but it gas a bit short for me. Long oxidized malt and light grapefruit bitterness. Sammy (12491) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2012
Big head on cloudy deep yellow body. Hoppy aroma. Nothing like it smells, rather than solely citrus, getting pineapple and tropical fruit. Above average mouthfeel, not the palate eraser some DIPAs are. Very good drinkability. Thanks Johnsense for this little gem.
