3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle and served in my GI IPA tulip: A slightly hazy golden hue with a lasting frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has major tropical and other fruity esters (mango, melon, tangerine, grapefruit, and lemon) along with some bready and caramelized malts. Nice clove and pepper influence along with some noticeable boozy and very minor onion vapours. The taste is actually far more balance than I expected, moderately fruity and slightly acidic but not massively bitter has I thought it would be. The sweeter malt has room to breathe and a spicy kick on the finish does add some depth. There is a hint of herbal garden notes as well. The mouth feel is sharp but outside the warming alcohol it is not all that aggressive. While there are some nice aspects about this beer it is not quite as nice as NvsU or even Ubiquitous.
Aroma is toffee, grapefruit and resinous/spicy hops. The flavor is citrus, fruit/tropical fruit, Sorachi hops, malts/toffee and a spicy/warming finish. muzzlehatch (4969) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 29, 2017
22 ounce bottle from Everett’s in South Beloit, WI, sampled fairly cold in an old Olympia glass. Muted cloudiness in a bronze-amber body with a smallish, lasting topping of foam...deep fruitiness hits the nose along with a light smokiness and perhaps a bit of nutty liqueur...the tongue joins in, finding more of that strong fruitiness, a syrupy character, light alcohol presence, and growing bitterness towards a finish that is still rather sweet...the body is thick almost to the point of feeling more like the liqueur character noted in the aroma, with carbonation on the low side. This is kind of interesting for the nutty, dark qualities to the malt and aromatics, but it’s not my favorite kind of interesting and I’m finding it hard to drink. Mmmm eh. ajnepple (6840) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 8, 2017
Draft at the Tivoli Brewing Tap House. Golden to yellow and pretty clear in appearance with a sticky white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus zest, toasted malt, mild herbal spice and a hint of banana. Similar flavor, fresh, fruity, hoppy and mildly bitter. Medium body with a nicely balanced finish. Easy to drink. TattooJack (518) - Illinois, USA - MAY 20, 2016
Poured from 2 bombers, I’m a sucker for a 10% IPA, especially one with a depiction of a tattooed carnival leprechaun holding weed on the label. It’s spicy, piney, creamy, boozy, sticky, & probably 2 more of the 7 dwarfs, did I mention it’s 10%?! blueshockey24 (615) - Colorado, USA - MAR 29, 2016
Bomber. Pours cloudy golden with thick off white head. Aroma is sweet malty happiness. Taste is sweet honey piney hops with a alcohol bitter hop finish. Pretty good but not my favorite pipeworts beer.

Draught at Fools Gold, NYC. Clear golden beer with a beautiful lasting offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, pine, grapes, citrus, some medicine. Hoppy citrus flavor, grapefruit, medicine, floral notes. Cough medicine finish. 8 dollars for a 8 oz pour. So not worth it! Troupis (261) - - MAR 9, 2016
Great hop-filled IPA. Nothing special from an elite standpoint but still awesome for hop lovers.

Pours a light hazy rust orange. A citrus citrus and floral hop aroma with lemongrass and pine. A strong fruity flavor with floral hops and pine. A sweet flavor but with a strong bitter hop aftertaste. SirLimpsalot (4375) - SWEDEN - FEB 27, 2016
@ Basunen 16-2-27: Lite smörig doft och smak. Tydlig färsk med en sötaktig jordgubbston. Lite störande smörton. gyllenbock (9328) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 16, 2016
On tap at Local Option.
Hazy golden with a small white head. Fresh and hoppy with pine, grapefruit, light grass and some warming alcohol. The finish was bitter.
