Bottle. Pours clear gold with foamy dense white head. Looks good. Aroma is very floral, some lemony citrus character, bit green and grassy. Flavors are bright green and piney, floral almost perfumey, some grapefruit citrus notes, while a sweet toasted grain husky malt finishes out. Med body. Really balanced ipa that doesn’t go down the sweet plasticy cystral malt road. Reminds me of a bit bigger daisy cutter. Solid standard ipa.
Pours deep gold with a sticky white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, straw, and pine. Taste is grapefruit, soapy suds, pine, and malt. Very tasty brew. rxeight (3281) - Illinois, USA - MAY 26, 2013
Batch 76, so its a bit old. Stale hops, bitter a bit sweet. Not a fan. But it might be better fresh. burgy (460) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - MAY 23, 2013
Super easy drinking. No crazy hops up in your face as soon as you open the beer. Just nice normal IPA stylings. Brigadier (3760) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - MAR 24, 2013

Thanks to tastybeer for bringing this back from Chicago. An enjoyable IPA is a bit on the heavy side to be sessionable but well in line with everything else in the Midwest. If all breweries had a go to beer like this in their lineup then I would have no problems finding reliable fallbacks when I travel.
Aroma / Appearance - The stark white head is bright like whitening toothpaste. Caramel carbonation rests underneath. Floral aspects rise from the glass with lemons and oranges sharp on the nose. Airy and open it feels like a warm spring afternoon.
Flavor / Palate - Sweet and resiny, the mouthfeel clings to the palate. Tart lemons carry into a pleasing finish. One or two pours would be enough for me for a night but this is a fine beer. Depending on the price tag and backlog if I could buy this locally I might just keep one on hand most of the time.
Bottle, gold pour, white head. Some retention/good lace. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, lemon, caramel. Taste is moderately bitter, citrus/floral hops, light malt sweetness. Palate is drier, oily, bitter finish.

Bottle shared by Sarah, thanks! Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice grassy and citrus hop note with a backbone of bread. Flavor is similar with light citrus and grass with a bread backbone. pablo951 (687) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Pours a hazy golden hue, with a nice frothy creamy head. Extremely hoppy taste, even the head taste hoppy. Very good strong IPA had it out of a bomber.. ChiGuy68 (620) - Illinois, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Tasted from a 22oz. bottle. Poured a unique hazy amber that appears gradually darker at the top of the glass. Strong hop aroma and taste. AWISLguy (3374) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Bomber from Fischmans. Pours a fairly clear yellow-orange with a spongy white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma has citrus and pine and caramel with some breadiness. Taste is of pineapple, grapefruit and lemons, pine, some resin and faintly sweet caramel. Quite sticky and bitter. The malts are only occasionally present, but - despite the bitterness - it is still very nice and very tasty. Finishes long and mostly bitter, with underlying sweetness. A nice IPA. Pipeworks continues to distribute some solid offerings! Dodgrblu (756) - Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 21, 2013
Bomber from trade, thin head on pour, lingering bitterness, slightly off balance.
