From bomber, pours a hazy amber yellow with a small white head. Aroma is citrus floral. Taste is lots of grapefruit rind and citrus, with a strong hoppy bitterness. There’s some fruit in there too, but the bitterness predominates. Finish is bitter. It’s good, but the bitterness is more than my preference. pablo951 (669) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 13, 2014
Had it out of a Bomber (it’s basically the only way to get a Pipeworks brew).Light hop aroma, murky orange hue, light white head (how I likes it), and a Bruce Lee hopped up roundhouse kick to the tastebuds. ChiGuy68 (594) - Illinois, USA - SEP 13, 2014
Tasted from a bomber. It poured a murky golden orang hue with a short white head that leaves streaky white lacing. Bright citrus hop aroma with hints of grapefruit and other fruity goodness. Pipworks are the guardians of all kinds of hoppy goodness! jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2014
2014-08-15. Hazy dark yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma of citrusy hops, lemony notes. Flavour is nice, similar hoppy lemon citrus. Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Quite nice, crisp bright hop character. Bottle at Campground Brewdown fluffy (2472) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - AUG 7, 2014

Galaxy Unicorn - Pipeworks Brewing
APPEARANCE: Pours a murky, hazy orange with golden peach hues. Unfiltered but not finding any sediment in the initial pour. Big sudsy off white head that stuck around for the long haul. Leaving nice lacing all around the glass as it slowly dissipated.
AROMA: Big burst of over ripe oranges, grapefruit rind. Followed by a tropical cereal like aroma. Almost like that Special K with the dried fruit in it. Tons of hoppy, floral notes with a slight spicy earthiness. Backend grassy, slightly catty. Very interesting and inventing bouquet on this beer.
TASTE: Wow I new the nose had fruit on it but the taste it's a tropical fruit bomb! Fresh, juicy, ripe tangerines, pineapples even a bit of berry flavor. Toasted warm bread with honey butter on it. For sure getting some heat from the ABV but I actually enjoy that especially when it's balanced out with the big bitterness from all those hops.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium creamy body with a nice medium carbonation. Nice lingering oily finish. Super drinkable for a 9.5%.
OVERALL: This was my first pipeworks beer I thought it was outstanding I really enjoyed the galaxy hops flavor profile. The addition of wheat was very interesting as well. I found that all the sweet fruits where balanced nicely and not over powering at all.
RATING: 4.5/5 Zombie Heads!

Got in a trade with TheFugitive. 22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/26/2014. Pours slightly hazy bright orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of smooth pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, orange peel/rind, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Outstanding complexity and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with a nice crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a smooth and fairly creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an awesome single hopped DIPA. All around great complexity and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth to sip on for the big ABV. A highly enjoyable offering. ben4321 (6412) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 25, 2014

Aroma: This one has a nice resin/pine hop nose, with some tropical fruity hops too
Appearance: It pours an orange color with a creamy off-white head and some solid lace
Flavor: The taste of this beer is much the same as the nose, with a really nice hop presence to it
Palate: The body is medium-plus, it has a creamy mouthfeel, and a dry finish
Found this one to be really quite enjoyable. A very nice beer. I am glad to have tried as much Pipeworks stuff as I have on various trips to Chicago, and I look forward to trying more of their stuff.
Very crisp, clean, and flavorful. Nice citrus, grass, and pine flavors and some slight earthiness with subtle hints of orange and grapefruit zest. Not overly sweet which is nice.
