One of the most pungent aromas Ive ever smelled upon cracking open a bottle-- you would have though it was a 22oz container of candied peaches and melons, packaged in hibiscus tea, its that tropical and fruity smelling. But then you pour what looks like a pretty "normal" beer-- light, lagery color, mostly clear. And then the taste resembles neither the appearance or the smell-- sharp earthy, gritty, bitterness with a relatively light mouth feel. It doesnt feel as thick or syrupy as Ninja v Unicorn or Blood of the Unicorn. A really interesting IIPA. I wish theyd balanced out the bitterness with a bit more of the sweet, but its really hard to complain about, for any true hop lover-- especially as long as you keep breathing in deeply as you drink (the smells really interact with the flavors heavily in this one).

This is an outstanding Imperial IPA from Pipeworks! The small and taste are full of spicy fruit finishing with a good bitterness. The feel is what youd expect from an IPA, medium and carbonated well. I have yet to drink a bad IPA from these guys. Keep doing what youre doing.

With Z, pours an orange , rusty color with a beige head. Nose is deep citrus with heavy passion fruit ,bitter sweet as well ! Taste is bittersweet with more pine and resin in the taste with lighter citrus , finish is bitter sweet as well and ends on the same tasting notes, a dry and moderately long ending . QUaff Score 8 / 10

Bomber. Pours orange with a white head and nice citrus and pine aroma. Taste is bitter, lots of citrus, pine, hops, resin, and grass notes leading to a dry, bitter finish. Very good DIPA

Bottle at Campground Brewdown 2014. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Spicy citrus, herbal and menthol. Medium bodied, soft spicy hops. Bright with big citrus and long hops and a bit of sweetness on the finish.

Keg at Mother Kellys, London. It pours a golden color with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of citrus peel, pine cones, caramel. Taste is medium sweet and medium grassy and hoppy, with notes of caramel, biscuit, dried leaves, citrus peel and piny hops. Quite bitter dry finish. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, nice

[6636-20140815] Bottle. Orange tangerine hops aroma. Slightly hazy, pale orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Orange bitter hops flavour. Medium body is quite bitter. Good. (8/4/8/4/16) 4.0+

Golden color, white head. Big bold hoppy beer with a nice wheat/malt backbone. Some light dough notes are present, but the citrusy and grassy hops steal the show. Nice brew.

From bomber, pours a hazy amber yellow with a small white head. Aroma is citrus floral. Taste is lots of grapefruit rind and citrus, with a strong hoppy bitterness. Theres some fruit in there too, but the bitterness predominates. Finish is bitter. Its good, but the bitterness is more than my preference.
