Great hops great galaxy. Pours a lightish orange from a bomber and it smells and tastes great. Highly recommended for galaxy fans. Brian2d (43) - SPAIN - DEC 22, 2012
Batch #67, 22 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden color. Small creamy head. Highly carbonated. Medium body. Citrus and pine aromas. Excellence. bakebisbife (13) - - DEC 17, 2012
Another great Imperial IPA by Pipeworks. Every bit as good as Citra Ninja and Ninja vs. Unicorn.
Beautiful looking--hazy yellow. First impression of aroma was kiwi and tangerine. Mango, too. Tropical fruits throughout. Nice mouthfeel. Some stickiness. Not as sweet as Something Hoppy. Mild maltiness, but present. Pine character in the bitterness--and it is quite bitter. Delicious beer. soulpolisher (33) - Missouri, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Pours deep gold with white head. Aroma is all hops, just as it should be. Predominantly mango and grapefruit. Taste is bitter but with fruity. Medium body with a clean finish. Pfeezor (12) - - JUL 14, 2014

Galaxy Unicorn - Pipeworks Brewing
APPEARANCE: Pours a murky, hazy orange with golden peach hues. Unfiltered but not finding any sediment in the initial pour. Big sudsy off white head that stuck around for the long haul. Leaving nice lacing all around the glass as it slowly dissipated.
AROMA: Big burst of over ripe oranges, grapefruit rind. Followed by a tropical cereal like aroma. Almost like that Special K with the dried fruit in it. Tons of hoppy, floral notes with a slight spicy earthiness. Backend grassy, slightly catty. Very interesting and inventing bouquet on this beer.
TASTE: Wow I new the nose had fruit on it but the taste it's a tropical fruit bomb! Fresh, juicy, ripe tangerines, pineapples even a bit of berry flavor. Toasted warm bread with honey butter on it. For sure getting some heat from the ABV but I actually enjoy that especially when it's balanced out with the big bitterness from all those hops.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium creamy body with a nice medium carbonation. Nice lingering oily finish. Super drinkable for a 9.5%.
OVERALL: This was my first pipeworks beer I thought it was outstanding I really enjoyed the galaxy hops flavor profile. The addition of wheat was very interesting as well. I found that all the sweet fruits where balanced nicely and not over powering at all.
RATING: 4.5/5 Zombie Heads!

Poured from a bomber into a Half acre tulip
Yellowish orange body, lightly hazed with a white foam head that leaves slight lacing in the glass. Retention is good.
Explosion of tropical Galaxy hops in the aroma, mango, orange, passionfruit, a light fruity sweetness plus a hint of the wheat. .
Juicy mango and orange peel flavors at first, with a resiny bitter orange zest that lingers into the finish. Caramel hints in the aftertaste. Creamy feel, almost perfect. Not to sweet or boozy .... you would have thought it couldn’t get any better than Citra Ninja or Ninja v Unicorn and then Galaxy comes along and takes the lead...Cheers! 22 oz. bottle served in a Pipeworks tulip. Batch # 65.
A: Pours a clear amber color with a thick white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thick ring that leaves some soapy looking lace down the glass.
S: Huge waves of tropical and citrus fruits. Pineapple, mango and some cantaloupe. Tangerine, clementine and some honey notes. Caramel malt sweetness as well.
T: Pineapple and mango notes initially with a ton of underlying piney bitterness. Some light lemon peal, orange and some honey notes to it. Sweet bread malt body with a touch of caramel to it. A touch of booze on the back end.
M: Medium to light bodied with a medium high carbonation level. Slightly boozy and sweet, but very drinkable for 9.5%.
O: I still liked the initial flavor profile of Citra Ninja more, but this is an extremely close second for me. This is a little more sweet than CN, but the hops shine a little more. Overall I’m splitting hairs, both are delicious. Well done guys!

Pours a light golden color.
Amazing aroma from the galaxy hops. Loads of melon, citrus, passion fruit, mango and other fruity notes.
Incredibly bright, fruity (melon and tropical fruit) for the hops and a nice surprisingly light body that still stands up. Dangerously drinkable for the abv. rateyourpoison (198) - chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 29, 2012
22oz. I’m a big fan of PW Ipas but this one takes the cake for me so far. Amazing aroma, incredibly citrus flavor, sweet tropical fruit balanced by a perfect palate. Loved it.
