Amazing reddish pour with a rose-tinged head. Smell is sour with a hint of berries and cream. Flavor is a mix of wheat, berry, and lemon. It is extremely tart and dry and there are no wierd off-flavors. In the same school as say a Tartare. Pailhead (6540) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - NOV 16, 2012
Bottle: The aroma consists of heavy raspberry with a touch of lemon and a hint of vanilla. It pours a cloudy pinkish-orange with a two finger pinkish head that has decent retention. Pouring out of the bottle, it basically looks like pink lemonade with some carbonation. The flavor starts with moderate-heavy tart raspberry. The finish has a moderate lemon with a hint of vanilla. It’s light bodied with lively, but not prickly, carbonation. Overall, this is what Blue Lady probably strives to be...only with raspberries. Bottle. Gorgeous rose color, large pink head. Aroma of softly sour raspberry, citrus. Taste is softly sour fruit. Doesn’t taste very berliner weissey, but more like a very nice lambic. Reminds me of Rose de Gambrinus. Delicious. Nice to see this one in DC!

growler shared by a human. pours bright red with white head. aroma is loaded with raspberries, real fruity with lactic notes underneath. flavor is much of the same, might be more of a fruit beer but this works for me because I’m not a huge berliner fan anyway, there is still some lactic sourness holding the raspberry. really clean, crisp, and refreshing. awesome beer. hopscotch (11104) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 27, 2013
Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours hazy and orange with pink highlights and a small, fizzy, white head. The bouquet offers big-time raspberry accompanied by hints of wheat and acidity. Light-bodied with lively carbonation. The flavor presents clean, sour, raspberry fruitiness. Finishes tart, raspy and dry. Big-time thanks to BBB63 for shipping this world class Florida Weisse my way! StefanSD (2451) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - AUG 29, 2013
750 ml bottle courtesy of St Fun. Thanks. Batch 39. Pours a dirty pink color with a big fizzy light pink head that quickly fizzes away to nothing. The aroma is big and bold with fresh ripe raspberries. The taste is something to behold with complex raspberries that are both both ripe and tart, some banana, citrus(lemons&limes) and a touch of biscuit. The palate is thin but appropriate for the style and the carbonation is prickly. Finishes medium in duration and dry with lingering sour berries. Overall: Better than expected--and I totally love the name of this beer. Treebs (872) - , Illinois, USA - NOV 5, 2012
750 ml bottle served in a GI chalice. Batch #39.
A: Pours a hazy grapefruit color with a frothy light pink head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly to a thin wispy collar.
S: Seedy raspberry sweetness, almost like jam, with a white bread and wheat body to it. Very subtle tartness to this guy as well.
T: A little more puckering tartness to the body. Raspberry jam, cracked wheat, and some mild lemon acidity. The finish is slightly tart with a little bit raspberry kicking back in.
M: Lightly bodied with a nice effervescence to it. Prickly carb with a residual raspberry flavor that lingers ever so slightly on the palate.
O: Greatly refreshing with the right amount of raspberry sweetness and tartness. The wheat played a nice role in balancing out the fruit as well.

Bottle from Binny’s. Pours a cloudy Pepto-pink with a thin head. Nose is bright raspberry lemonade, faint yogurt and CLEAN! Nice acidity here to go with the fruit. On tasting, very quenching and light bodied. Raspberry skins/tannins balancing the big acidity. Quite tart and fresh. Pink lemonade notes persist here. What more can I say? A really nice and rounded fruit Berliner.
