12oz can at Big Mike’s. Pours clear yellow-gold with a thin white head. Citrus and malt flavors with a mild hops profile for an IPA. Light bitterness on the finish. Very drinkable (esp. while waiting for pizza). Luvystypotables (1991) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - AUG 13, 2017
On tap at Mellow Mushroom. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin white head with nice lacing, moderately carbonated. Aroma is floral, money with some grai a and malts. Taste is neither delicious nor balanced. A grainy taste with some resin and malt a lighter almost watery body with a chalky mouth feel and a bitter hop finish. A very underwhelming IPA. A delicious, well balanced IPA. Smooth slightly sweet malts balance out a unique hop blend. Pours a dark golden.

Not your usual hi hop American IPA, but has flavor and a certain farmhouse approach that really appeals to me

Sample at Hoof Hearted during the "Konkey Dong - Can Release Party" on 05/07/2017. Cloudy golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014. Pours gold with a foamy, white head. Solid IPA, well balanced. Lightly resinous, with notes of grapefruit, citrus rind, bitter pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Good balance to the finish. Nice beer. thegreenrooster (4448) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 31, 2016
Pour is a hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a slight citrus and tropical fruit. The hop aromas are there but nothing over the top. Flavor is some pineapple and a big hit of bitterness. Again nothing stands out, it’s just kind a dull hop flavor. Finish is more bitterness and a clean finish. Kind of a basic no frills IPA. tillmac62 (740) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - JUN 24, 2016
COD 4/19/16. Light amber pour with some suspended matter. World class head volume, lacing and retention. The final pour delivers quite significant amounts of particulate matter that results in a hefeweizen appearance.
Very good nose of light citrus (lemon), light tropical (passion fruit), spruce and a solid malt base that has biscuit and bready aspects.
Light body that is smooth. Very good carbonation / body balance. The middle is slightly effervescent while the finish approaches prickly.
The flavor profile is good, but lacks sufficient bitterness flavor for the style. As an pale ale, I would rate the flavor very good to borderline outstanding. It is rich in hop flavor (mostly sweet tropical initially, then shifts to spruce and ends with pine and zest) but has very little bitterness. Underneath is a rich malt base that follows the nose (biscuit and bready). The finish is a slow fade that is mostly lingering zest.
