Not your usual hi hop American IPA, but has flavor and a certain farmhouse approach that really appeals to me

Surprised by the score on this one. It is easily one of my favorite IPAs in WNC. It is a west coast IPA in style and carries with it the expected hop aromas and flavors. Fresher is better obviously. What makes it so great thought is a fantastic malt balance that brings out the hops but doesn’t just play second fiddle like it is yellow seltzer water. It balances well. Drink this beer. decaturstevo (6257) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 4, 2014
Deep yellow orange pour with creamy white head. Aroma is sweet malt and resiny hops. Flavor is sweet malt start with a nice citrus bitter finish and a touch of floral. Medium body with good carbonation. ok ipa BeerFanDan17 (1121) - Brunswick, Maine, USA - JUL 2, 2017
A delicious, well balanced IPA. Smooth slightly sweet malts balance out a unique hop blend. Pours a dark golden.

On tap at Native Kitchen. Suprised rating was so low- to me it’s a decent, crisp, light, summery, clean IPA. Pours hazy with an orange hue- not much head but still appealing. Taste is grapefruit up front with some pine, orange, and slight floral notes. Decent balance- not overly hoppy. Medium carbonation and slightly slick mouthfeel. Good. Solid.

Sample as part of the flight at the source. Moderately aggressive pine and citrus hops. Finish is bitter citrus. Jabah (500) - Winter Park, Florida, USA - JAN 28, 2016
West Coast IPA from NC. Not as tropical as many of the ones here in FL in this style. Semi-unfiltered light orange appearance. Aroma and flavor of citrus, pine, and bitter hops. Not quite a hop bomb, but very well-balanced. Smooth, light frothy texture. Will look for this again next time I am up that way. Leighton (21511) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2016
Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014. Pours gold with a foamy, white head. Solid IPA, well balanced. Lightly resinous, with notes of grapefruit, citrus rind, bitter pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Good balance to the finish. Nice beer.
