Draft pint at Luella’s Bar-B-Que in Asheville, NC; hazy copper-amber color with very light tan head. Aroma notes of citrus/floral hops, some tropical/grapefruit notes with toasty malt balance. Taste adds grass bitterness, some citrus zest, faint dry fruits and grainy malt sweetness. Medium-light body, moderate-low carbonation, dry, tad crisp with some lingering fruity/citrus finish. Overall pretty nice APA, went well with my BBQ platter. Panzuriel (2256) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - AUG 20, 2015
Pisgah Pale Ale is a richer copper colored ale that is a bit hazy. Nose is very faint citrus and grass. The taste is slightly sweet malt with a bit of grass flavor. Body is a bit thin. Overall very drinkable but somewhat unremarkable. jcr (2705) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JUN 14, 2015
Draft. Amber body with an off-white head. Aroma of raw, dusty grain, citrus, floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Light on flavor except for the grainy malts. Keg at Mamacitas, Asheville, 17/02/15.
Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering.
Nose is pale malt, melon, light orange, a little thin overall.
Taste comprises light citric peel, melon, light bread, grassy tones.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so - a pretty muted affair lacking hops and indeed direction! climberbob (458) - Virginia, USA - FEB 3, 2015

Aroma: It has some citrus/grapefruit, a little orange, caramel, and some toast/grainy malts
Appearance: It pours a hazy amber-golden color with a small off-white-to-beige colored head
Flavor: The taste is along the same lines as the nose, a little sweet, with a nice, clean bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, leans a hint light, with a pretty good drinkability to it
I enjoyed this one overall. It is nothing too amazing, but it is pretty good. Definitely something I could see drinking regularly if it’s one of few around, but not something I’d seek out on a more in depth menu.

Draft pour at Curate in Ashville. Waiter said its by far his favorite beer so the bar was set high. Which made it let me down a little. Cloudy dark orange. Not much aroma. Has a dank apricot and bitter fruity taste. It's good.
