22 oz. bottled Fall 2015. Red-tinged copper with a pinkish tinted foam on top. Nose is strawberries and raspberries with a touch of caramel. Tastes of the same with a little more caramel. Finish has some cherry cough drop and a hint of apple with the woody pith. Light-medium body has a decent balance and medium-high carbonation.

Bottle at the beach. Lots of fruit, cherry and raspberry. Aromas and flavors. Bit of effervescent but mostly fruit flavors working throughout. Cherry pies finish.

Cybercat (6010) - Georgia, USA - JUN 19, 2015
Pours slightly reddish coppery amber with a fairly thick but effervescent pink-tinged buff head. Malty aroma has a strong overtone of cherries and raspberries that has me going Pavlov. Flavor is mainly cherry, with raspberry, malty, and shy hoppy tones providing backup. A little sweet, a little tart, and 100% refreshing in the sweltering Georgia heat. (Thank goodness Moncrief repaired my blooming AC unit!) Mouthfeel has firm body and a shy but persistent fizz. Let this devil possess you if you have a helluva thirst.

Draft at Thirsty Monk pour red copper with moderate white head. Nose tart cherry, slight sour, some raspberry. Taste cherry and sweet malt up front. Continue with light fruit to finish.

I’m always a fan of the tart fruit beer. Raspberry sweetness balanced out by its sticky citrus aftertaste. Mellow flavor, on the whole, but a refreshing zing at the end leaves a good, lasting impression.

Draft to taster. Looks good; a transparent reddish copper with white lacing. Smells and tastes of yeast and raspberries with a solid mouthfeel. An enjoyable fruit beer.

Dogbones (116) - North Carolina, USA - JAN 24, 2014
Home keg tap to glass. Beautiful pink hue in the glass with a 1/2 inch head. Minimal lacing. Strong fresh raspberry smell mixed with a nice belgian aroma. The taste follows the smell exactly with a medium body and a delicious buttery undertone! For an amazing treat, mix half and half with Catawba’s PB&J Time!

Tap at beer study. Pours a dark brownish red with a small off white head. Nose is lightly fruity, some booze upfront, a bit of red berry seeds. Flavor is similar, fruit and booze dominate with a light Belgian yeast like finish. Okay, but a little too boozy to really enjoy.
