Draft at the source during RBWG. Dark amber brown color, tan head. Aroma of lightly toasted brown bread dipped in cocoa. Taste is earth brownie and coffee.

On tap at Pisgah during RBWG. On tap at Pisgah during RBWG. Brown red, darker color. Not totally opaque. Thin light brown head, leaves good, thicker lace. Medium body. Some good earthy hop, mild bitter. Good roast notes. Moderate sweet, light bitter. Solid schwarzbier. Nice long roasty aftertaste.

Keg @ Barley’s during the RBWG opening ceremonies. Deep brown with a small head. Accents of cocoa, a bit of ash. Toasted brown bread. Sweet chocolate. Definitely a bit sweet for a schwarz. Some burnt wood on the finish. Ligh body, active carbonation. OK.
