Bottle. A bit darker bronze color than is typical for an IPA. Subtle grassy nose and a nice sized white head. The hops come through in the flavor more in the finish than up-front as they leave a spicy burn in the mouth. Hops lean towards pepper and grass. The body’s filled out nicely with some dark caramel sweetness. I like how this is called a Triple Pale Ale...it’s as strong as a double IPA, but not so aggressively hopped as has become come for the style. Another nice beer from this awesome brewery. fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2010

[ Courtesy of GAManiac ]. Clear medium to dark orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, heavy hoppy, grapefruit, citrus, pine. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Reviewed from notes.
Pours a nice amber-brown color with a pretty good head and a slight amount of lacing. The nose is really nice with some citrus and pine and with that comes some caramel and sweetness. The taste is light hops with some notes of dark fruit and sugar. Mouthfeel is pretty good with a nice balance between body and booze. Drinks quite well and is a nicely done beer.

Pours a hazy dark amber/orange color with a two finger frothy white head that has pretty good retention, slowly fading into a lasting ring. Sporadic lacing left behind.
Citrus and floral hop aroma with hints of pine, grapefruit, orange peel and pineapple. Subtle malt backbone with Graham and biscuit.
On the lighter end of medium bodied with a blast of bitter and sweet hops up front that linger throughout into a dry finish. Lots of floral and citrus hop flavor with hints of mango, pineapple and grapefruit as well as some pine needle and a spicy, grassy character. Nice malt backbone that provides balance without overpowering. Hints of caramel, biscuit and Graham cracker. Wellmbalanced and pretty quaffable.

Pours a hazy amber orange from the bomber with fluffy white cap and good lacing. Aromas of citrus and earthy hops, hints of sweet toffee malts, and alcohol. Taste is super bitter, but kind of like an aged IPA moving towards a barley wine. Triple pale ale, hmmmm, I guess that equates to a DIPA. It’s alright, but nothing worth really seeking out. Very malty I would not call this an ipa not hopped at all. Not sweet but front forward malt hops not in aroma nice lasting head not bad more like a 90 minute ipa but no hop aroma tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 2, 2013
Pours dark orange color with off white head. Leaves plenty of lacing on the glass. Hop hop hop aroma of citrus and some pine. Flavor is a bold malt backbone with the big oily hoppy of citrus and pine. As it warms the flavors become more pronounced. Really a very good beer. chinchill (4993) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 4, 2016
22 oz bottle served in a lager glass well past the normal BB date.
The clear body looks like honey, and there are suggestions of honey in both the aroma and the flavor. The aroma, however, is dominantly and strongly floral. The flavor has some citrus and herbal notes from the hops in addition to the floral ones. A relatively low bitterness (moderate) makes this a very drinkable DIPA, at least when aged some. The high ABV is partially hidden.
