Peachy colour nice lacing. Vanilla slighty tart oak aroma. Helles sweet malt aroma. Taste is faintly funky okay a bit of cereal sweetness. Interesting. My first grodziskie. Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 21, 2013
A hazed golden Gratzer with a thin white head. In aroma, lemony malt with lactic acid notes, light funky side, nice. In mouth, a sour beer with light fruity notes and bacon smokiness, lactic acid, interesting. On tap at Bad Apple, Chicago. ilovedarkbeer (2741) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - DEC 18, 2013
Pours a light copper color with a small lacy white head. Notes of ham, sour dough, light caramel, and earth. Thin Chudwick (3219) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - DEC 16, 2013
Advent beer #16: half liter bottle - my first Grodziskie ever. Nose is grainy. Sip adds sweet malts, wheat, and whatever makes it sour. Really light and making it hard for me to pick up on individual flavors. Don’t pick up any smoke. Very easy to drink and interesting, but the body limits it for me. Slightly tart fruitiness aftertaste. pinkie (470) - New York, USA - DEC 8, 2013
This poured golden with a very slight haze and a thick creamy head of white foam. Haphazard bubbles streamed to the top throughout the drink. Looked like a kristallweizen in the glass.

Nose is tart citrus with a touch of grain sweetness. A wheat dryness and a faint banana. Some spice tickles the nose a bit while the smoke quality of this translated to a woody scent of beechwood.
Taste is very much like a pils. Ha s light body that is smooth and a bit creamy. It’s crisp and the carbonation is just like a good pilsner. The taste is citrusy with a touch of lemon, the natural sweetness of the grain and the tiny touch of banana for smoothness. The smoke in the drink remains light until it warms then you can taste actual smoke. It finishes with a nice tart flourish and a bit of the smoke quality. A nice contrasting sweetness and dry overall.
From a bottle. This is very interesting, it might take awhile to get used to. Slight smoke and sourness. Otherwise, light and clean. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - NOV 22, 2013
On tap at Of Love and Regret in Baltimore. Pours a hazy yellow with some head. Funky smell. Interesting. Flavor was sort of bland but not unpleasant. Overall fine. tnkw01 (1753) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Bottle. This was a weird beer. Cloudy gold in color. Weird polluted kind of head. Aroma was a light smoky, almost funky kind of smell. Taste was light smoky with a almost sour finish. wlajwl (6816) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Aroma is mild smoke, nuttiness, wheat and a small hint of heat. The flavor is wheat, mild/medium smoked malts, an undercurrent of salt/minerals and and a lingering sour/tart finish. Jabic (590) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - OCT 23, 2013
Ar: Slightest hint of beech smoke, some sulfur - toasted, rich malt.
Ap: Clear, amber-gold - medium-large white head with good retention, leaves beautiful lacing, and a thin, but solid, cap of foam.
T: Light wheat and slightly toasted malt - a background smoke, but restrained - lemon and biscuit - finish is some spic hops, and grainy malt.
P: Light body with very high carbonation - finish is very dry.
O: Refreshing wheat beer with some nice complexities, from the lemony sour edge to the background beech smoke - nice!
