Bottled. Poured slightly cloudy medium golden with a nice cap of white head. The aroma picked up vinegar and oaky sourness with slight cherry influence.. soft smoke too.. smelled like it was going to be refreshing. The flavor found soft wheat and bready notes at the core.. slightly sour smoked cherry wood and wheat around.. a touch more assertive through the finish.. very tasty. Medium-bodied with high carbonation on the palate.. low-ish on the overall sourness scale.. well-balanced and refreshing.
Bottle thanks to deyholla. Slightly hazy deep amber pour with a small head. Mellow smoked malt. Some tea accents, shag tobacco. Light fruity esters. Well balanced flavor. Bottle. Pours a clear amber (with some sediment with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of wheat with a touch of smoke and alight tartness underlying. This is OK, but definitely unique, and fairly primitive, though I’m not sure on the freshness of my bottle. Low carbonation, no head. Hazy tea color. Aroma - some peat, wheat, and wild yeast.
Appearance - the body is pale yellow, with abundant nucleation. The head is white and 1 1/4" and settles slowly.
Taste - has a nice mix of wheat, peat and smoke, wild yeast, and a subtle tang.

Part of a 10 euro, 6 beer blind tasting set at Trois 8’s biergarten event in Paris. 100% smoked wheat used by this German gypsy brewer. It pours golden with an off-white head. 500 ml bottle. Clear amber-gold pour with very light haze. Aroma is wheaty, light smokiness, campfire smoke. Draft at Brasserie V in Madison. Just a hint of haze. Light amber pour with h a slight white head. Low carbonation. Low level of tartness and a low level of smoke. Mild in all regards. Biggest feature is the bitterness on the backend.
