Draft at the source. Hazy bright yellow color, thick white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of very fruity rising bread dough. Taste has lots of mixed tropical fruits, hay, straw, nicely balanced. Holy cow, if every pale lager tasted like this, I’d drink them all the time. In fact, I spent the first 20 years of my life drinking pale lagers because nothing else was easily available. If only this had existed then....

Can from Liberty Beer in Pittsburgh. This was just a run of the mill beer in a fancier can. I was hoping with a name as such it would have been more pedestrian.

Growler shared at Campdown Brewdown thanks to argo0. Pours a clear golden with medium foam. Nose is sharp and fresh dough, noble hops, squash. Taste is a bit soapy, hoppy, heavy biscuit and dough. A bit oily and even smoky in the nose. Very nice.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2013 First and foremost, this is for the new blue collar lager, not the old version.
A - Pours clear golden yellow with a small half finger tall white head, dissipating down to a light film, leaving spotty streaks of lace down parts of the glass.
S - Smells of lightly sweet grain, bready pils malt, spicy and citric hops and not much else. A little slow at the beginning it starts to come out once it warms up. Smells really fresh and inviting.
T - Starts off with some of the sweetness from the malt and some of the spicy hops quickly giving way to some dulled fruitiness and the chewy pils malt. Quite balanced throughout with nothing standing above anything else. Finish is pretty clean with only a bit of lingering chewiness. Like the nose it just tastes like a nice, refreshing lager.
M - Light body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, mildly hoppy feel throughout. This stuff is way too easy to drink, my glass disappeared super fast on this hot day.
O - I liked the original version but this is even better. It is just as easy drinking but the lighter body just works better. No one flavor dominates making it disappear quite quickly. Another lighter option in a sea of big Pizza Boy beers.

Growler at the Campground Brewdown courtesy of Aaron. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. Fuzzy musk and grain, spicy on the nose. Medium bodied, sweet grain, toast. Chewy grain. Long and sweet, grain and crackers. Tasty.

Tap. Pours a clear light gold body with a small fizzy white head. The nose is pretty light, just a bit of pale malt and some light but very bright citrusy hops. The flavor is clean and super crisp with a nice snappy hoppiness on the finish. Light bodied an super easy drinking with soft fizzy carbonation. Probably the best Pale Lager I’ve ever had. Lots of flavor, little alcohol.

Pours unclear hazy golden sunset with a bit of an orange hue with a small off white ring head. Aroma is light crispy wheat like malts. Flavor brings some light orange notes with a smooth juicy body for the style. Starts small but ends nicely.
