Campground Throwdown 2, growler, thanks Peregrinari. Medium off-white head atop clear light amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/lemon, light spiciness. Taste is moderately sweet, lemon/orange, some spicy, light strawberry. Light-medium body, light stickiness. j12601 (12974) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 23, 2013
Sampled this at Campground Brewdown 2. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Soft citrus, light caramel. Citrus and pineapple. Sweet and fruity, soft wheat and grain. Musk, candied mango. Sweet caramel with a gentle bitterness into the finish. jercraigs (10651) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2013
2013-08-17. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma has hoppy, fruity character, over pale malt. Flavour is similar, mild bitterness, fruity hops, citrus in the middle. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay but needs more hop presence and doesn’t quite come together for me. Growler at Campground Brewdown. blipp (9502) - La Mesa, California, USA - SEP 2, 2013
Growler. Pours gold with a white head. Light flowery hops, spicy yeast, honeydew, and faint hints of tartness. Good, not great. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 14, 2014
[5701-20130817] Growler. Fresh melon pineapple fruit aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter fruity melon hops in the flavour. Medium body. Interesting. (7/3/7/3/13) 3.3

Growler. Pours a clear gold body under a one finger fizzy white head that faded to a thin wispy film. Some nice sticky lacing decorates the glass. The nose is really nice, lots of tropical fruit hoppiness, some light bready malt, and some nice perfume like notes that must be from a mixture of hops and the Saison yeast. The flavor is a pretty weird mixture for me at first. Heavy tropical fruitiness from the hops and moderate bitterness up front, but then the finish is all about the Saison yeast. They don’t quite seem to mix all that well for me. It’s certainly not bad, it’s just an odd combination between the fruit and the yeast. Light bodied and easy drinking with soft fizzy carbonation. Meh, not sure what to think of this one. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 12, 2013
This was the only pizza boy beer I tried that I did not like. This one poured a murky dark yellow with a whitehead. Aroma was mainly saison yeast and alcohol not much hops. Flavor was similar to much fakes place not much hops in a lot of alcohol. Not very good JulienHuxley (5877) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 28, 2013
On tap at the new Al’s of Hampden/Pizza Boy Brewing. Very pale clear gold pour. Tons of mango, very tropical with some phenolic saison yeast notes, if I had to bet I’d say 3711. Flavor is moderately hoppy, fruity flavor, yeasty finish, not quite clean.. Body is light and dry. Moderately quenching. LilBeerDoctor (4032) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2013
On tap at Al’s of Hampden. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, grassy hops, caramel malt. Flavor of sweet fruits, Belgian yeast, melon rind, grassy hops and a bitter finish. While hops dominate the aroma, the flavor is mostly saison. Interesting beer, but it’s a little sweet.

Pours clear straw golden with a white head and small lacing. Aroma brings spring honey and citrus lemon field notes. Flavor brings similar light saison grassy notes, blended with lemony hop flavors sitting gently on the tongue.
