[5701-20130817] Growler. Fresh melon pineapple fruit aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter fruity melon hops in the flavour. Medium body. Interesting. (7/3/7/3/13) 3.3

Pour is a pale golden amber, mostly transparent, with a tight white head. Nose is of Saison yeast and some chewy malt. Very grassy hops with notes of fruity citrus. Taste is more sweet, some messy malt and farmhouse notes. A good bit of lemon with a grassy hop and note of citrus. Lots of sugar left over and some dirty malt flavors. Lighter carb with a syrupy body.

Growler. Pours a clear gold body under a one finger fizzy white head that faded to a thin wispy film. Some nice sticky lacing decorates the glass. The nose is really nice, lots of tropical fruit hoppiness, some light bready malt, and some nice perfume like notes that must be from a mixture of hops and the Saison yeast. The flavor is a pretty weird mixture for me at first. Heavy tropical fruitiness from the hops and moderate bitterness up front, but then the finish is all about the Saison yeast. They dont quite seem to mix all that well for me. Its certainly not bad, its just an odd combination between the fruit and the yeast. Light bodied and easy drinking with soft fizzy carbonation. Meh, not sure what to think of this one.

Pours clear straw golden with a white head and small lacing. Aroma brings spring honey and citrus lemon field notes. Flavor brings similar light saison grassy notes, blended with lemony hop flavors sitting gently on the tongue.

This was the only pizza boy beer I tried that I did not like. This one poured a murky dark yellow with a whitehead. Aroma was mainly saison yeast and alcohol not much hops. Flavor was similar to much fakes place not much hops in a lot of alcohol. Not very good

Not bad. Has a sweet kinda taste up front, but a poor kinda alcohol aftertaste ruins it

Growler. Pours gold with a white head. Light flowery hops, spicy yeast, honeydew, and faint hints of tartness. Good, not great.

2013-08-17. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma has hoppy, fruity character, over pale malt. Flavour is similar, mild bitterness, fruity hops, citrus in the middle. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay but needs more hop presence and doesnt quite come together for me. Growler at Campground Brewdown.
