Fresh growler courtesy of Frank/Bill at Frank’s tasting October 2012. Pours a bright, hazy golden orange body with nice active white head and lots of lacing jetting up and down the side of my glass. Aroma is sugary, citric hops, pineapple, and sweet dank herbal swirls. Super fresh. Mouthfeel is incredibly sessionable with notes of bright, sweet citrus fruits - most notably orange, grapefruit, apricot, pineapple and guava. As I continue to drink I get more of a funkiness in both the aroma and flavor complimented again by the dank herbalness and pine flavors. One of the best IPAs Ive had recently.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2013 Hazy dark golden-orange body, two finger white froth, respectable sheet-like lacing. Nose is dank citric (mostly orange and lemon), resinous, and piney hops. Flavor is a bit more mellow and muddled, but still pleasant and complex. Nice and dank. A little boozy with some residual sweetness. Medium bodied, creamy carbonation, substantial bitterness in the finish. PhillyCraft (7235) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 14, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2012 Fresh growler, pours a hazy golden orange with thick white head and awesome streaks of lacing. Aroma is pure cannabis, the most weedy scent u will ever encounter in a beer. Other notes of garlic, cheese tang, resin, pine, grass, orange rind, and sour dies. Taste is sugary sweet hops, funky resin, juicy pineapple, caramel, almost alpine nelsony but not as juicy/dry, lots of sugar, vanilla malts, cedar, and mango. Medium bodied, aftertaste is straight greenery extract. Well done terry, just need a little more dryness and less sweetness but a straight knockout in my book. orangesol (987) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2012

A - Pours hazy golden yellow with a nice one and a half finger tall white head leaving thin rings of lace down most of the glass.
S - Smells of pungent citric hops, fresh zested tropical fruits, fresh cut grass and some light sugary sweetness. Very hoppy from start to finish with a touch of booze creeping in toward the end of the glass.
T - Starts off with an intense citric hop bite slowly giving way to hints of sugary sweetness, fresh grass and some nice fruitiness, growing lighter as it sits in the glass. Finish is very hoppy with some light sweetness, lingering on the palate long after consumption.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet, hoppy feel from start to finish. The sweetness grows as it sits in the glass, threatening to overpower everything in its path, thankfully it does not.
O - I like this version better than the Sunset version. It is more focused and executed very well. Maybe a touch too sweet but that isn’t a big deal when the rest is so good. Give it a try if you get a chance.
