Pours a dark brown to black with a creamy tan head. Big bold aroma of roasted malts and coffee. Head dissipates quickly turning into a creamy clingy lacing. Rich creamy texture for a full mouth feel. Good strong flavors of coffee and roasted malts. Not harsh or bitter. Finishes silky smooth leaving a pleasant lingering aftertaste. Hides the alcohol well. Very tasty and enjoyable. Tastes similar to Bell's Arabicadabra but better. AirForceHops (8175) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 25, 2018
16 oz. can. Canning date of 12/7/2017. Black color with a full thick tan head that persists. Aroma is dark chocolate, mild coffee, mild earthy roasted grain. The body is full with a smooth mouthfeel. Texture is dry with lingering coffee. Pretty nice, I like the mouthfeel. ttutony (959) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 13, 2017
Nearly black in color with a thin tan head that dissipated quickly. Brilliant coffee aroma. Smells great. Really well integrated roasted malt and coffee on the palate. Hides the 9.5% ABV well. Nicely done. jflopsu (1862) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 27, 2017

Keg at Bainbridge Barrel House. Pours jet black with a thin off white head. Aroma is coffee, treacle, chocolate and molasses. Taste is a really smooth coffee and chocolate hit. A little coconut and vanilla on the end with coffee coming back through. Really good stuff. FROTHINGSLOSH (8362) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 30, 2017
Sampled on draft at Hugo’s this beer poured a black color with a small beige head that left good lacing. The aroma was strong chocolate syrup, bread, coffee, vanilla, and malted milk. The flavor was strong brewed coffee, chocolate syrup, cream and malted milk. Very long finish of coffee and chocolate syrup. Full bodied, smooth and creamy. Alcohol very well controlled. Outstanding. matty (453) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 20, 2017
16 oz. can. Pours a deep black color with wisps of tan foam. Aroma is strong coffee. Full bodied, the taste goes along with the aroma - strong coffee. Acidic and bitter just like coffee. Finish is bitter. beastiefan2k (4230) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - MAY 17, 2017
I honk this is where this goes. Isn’t called double coffee. Black, duh, dry coffee grounds aroma. Some bittersweet cocoa, light acidity, and cold coffee. But not sweet or bit. Similar in flavor with cold coffee but not big/sweet. More fumy coffee and a bit more rich chocolate. DiarmaidBHK (6170) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 30, 2017
Draft at Coopers seafood house. Pours black with a half inch of khaki foam. Doesn’t leave any lacing in the glass. Has a pretty big coffee influence on the nose with a hint of sweetness. It’s a bit more astringent on the tongue but the coffee doesn’t seem very big. Hides it’s booze well. Not bad.
