On tap at at Pizza Boy. Pours a dark chocolatey black color with a slight medium brown head. Aromas of black coffee and light chocolate. Some leather. The taste is sweet but with a black coffee bitterness. The beer is thick and viscous. Very good coffee stout. Huhzubendah (3776) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 26, 2014

CROWLER!!!! Black color, small tan head. Huge coffee, ash, charcoal, rich chocolate. Big, rich, dry, ashy coffee ground and bitter 90% cacao. Medium sweet, yet very drying. Smooth though. Then a bitter brutal dying finish. Shooooot DCLawyer (2949) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - APR 3, 2016
32oz crowler thing poured into some appropriate glassware by GenDV110+OT. Thanks Donny! Enjoyed on his mom’s couch. Could not finish lest I send back all over his mom’s couch. Probably best not tasted after about 100 ounces of KBS earlier in the evening. Dammit Donny. Black with small tan head. Tons of coffee with dark chocolate, toffee. Really really good. Sample at Pizza Boy with koleminer20. Aroma is coffee crazy, chocolate, roasted malt, bitter, delicious, holy hell. Appearance is black, light brown head, poured decently thick. Taste is coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, bready, decent. Mouthfeel is heavy body, light carbonation, coffee and some sweetness in the aftertaste. Overall, solid solid stuff. koleminer20 (4261) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUN 18, 2016
On draft at Al’s. The pour is jet black. There is a thick cap of darker khaki head and no lace as it works down. The aroma is pretty good. It’s leaving a lot to be desired. It’s coffee, sure, but there is a sweetness to it that is definitely a little lactose based. Other than that there is a little roast, but it needs something else. The flavor is better. There is a brighter coffee. The roast is tones down a little bit and the lactose sweetness just about goes away. The light roast is key to helping the coffee pop. The mouth feel is thick and chewy with a soft carbonation and a lingeringly roasty, coffee dominated aftertaste. Really good stuff.
