Poured from a 22oz bottle.
Aroma is super coffee forward with a nice light chocolate note. Low nuttiness and fruit character. Hints of roast.
Poured dark brown, not quite black with a dark tan head with decent retention. Light lacing and long legs.
Flavor is moderately sweet and chocolate forward with a nice light roast note. Moderate coffee and some light nuttiness.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice coffee stout with some good base character. Nice coffee notes that are strong and fresh. italianjohn (3228) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 6, 2015

Has a bitter bite on the back end and some caramel malt presence .... Has a lot of body going on ... Thick slick and oily .... Abv hidden very well

Black body with a medium sized tan head and spotty lacing. Intense coffee and espresso. Assertive roasted and earthy malts. Medium bodied with moderate to lively carbonation. Fairly aggressive bitterness from the coffee. A bit more intense than I’d prefer as it loses any real depth from the malt profile. A coffee fiend will probably get more out of this than me. daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Almost black in color, deep brown head. Rich coffee notes, chocolate, light roast. The coffee is the star and it’s a phenomenal tasting coffee. Great beer. Huhzubendah (3736) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 26, 2014
