Draft at Al’s of Hampden. Pours black with a khaki head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Lots of Vietnamese coffee on the nose and tongue. Finished dry with some solid bitterness. Nice! nimbleprop (9048) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - SEP 2, 2015
On tap at the brewery, pours a deep black with a ring of beige head. Nose has chocolate, light coffee, malt, molasses, cola. Flavor is malty and sweet, coffee, chocolate, mild toast. Medium bodied and dry. jkwood04 (5477) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 30, 2015
On tap at Pizza Boy. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and some roasted malts, some light caramel, hints of bitterness, and some dough. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average to slightly light texture. A solid beer for being so light. Art (3220) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2015
On tap at Pizza Boy. Pours a dark brownish black. Off white head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. More aroma than expected with such a small abv. Taste is sweet up front but doesn’t linger too much. Amazed there is so much there with no abv. hopdog (13315) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 27, 2015
On tap at Al’s of Hampden. Poured a black color with a small sized off white head. Coffee, cream/vanilla, roast, and some earthiness. More coffee in the aroma and more creaminess in the tastes - damn fine for a 2.7% beer.

Aroma had a coffee scent, but you smell earth, like the ground or dirt. Also some fresh unpasteurized milk. Color is deep black. Flavor had a light coffee but that earthy/dirt flavor ruined it for me. I realized it was a low abv, but the beer needs more taste that isn’t off putting. Watery is understandable but dirty water bothered me. Tap jtclockwork (17771) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 16, 2015
Crowler. Pours dark brown tan head. Nose/taste of coffee, dirty earth and chocolate - lighter medium body. vtafro (7453) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUN 8, 2015
Draft. Black pour with tan head. Sweet coffee, roasted tones and sweet aromas. Sweet, coffee and low roasted flavors, can’t believe how good this is with a low abv. PhillyCraft (8343) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2015
Draft at Bainbridge, pours dark brown color with normal sized top. Smell is cocoa, light rust, sweet and roasty malt. Flavor is not much coffee let alone Vietnamese coffee. Really light and muddled that resemble a milk chocolate brown ale. Really light at this 2.7%. Needed more body and alcohol percent. Been spoiled by Vietnamese Speedway from Alesmith. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 13, 2015
This poured a darker brown with a frothy white head. Aroma of dark roasted coffee, chocolate and light earthy tea. Flavor was coffee forward, roasted grain, but falls off quickly. Really nice for the abv.
