On tap at Carlsbad Pizza Port, this was a collab brew with Hollister. Poured a mostly clear yellowish gold. Very carb’s. Aromas of belgian spice, saison notes, sweet pepper. On tap at Port Carlsbad. Pale golden color with a billowing white head and tiny bubbles streaming up the sides of the tulip glass. Aroma is belgian yeast with hints of bubble gum and mint leaf. Flavor starts lightly sweet and yeasty followed by citrusy hops , a littlc clove and a dry peppery finish. 12 oz Tulip draft at the Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pour is a hazed golden copper, with a nice off white head. Pretty lacing left behind as the beer drinks down. Aroma is gentle resin citrus hops along with pleasant clove and spiced yeastiness. Taste is the nose, nice integration though more mild tasting than was expected from the nose, particularly with the Belgian yeast. Clear, lager like appearance. Big bubblegum aroma. Medium bodied, sweet bubblegum and clove, citrussy hop finish. Good refershing, easy drinking hybrid.

A: The beer pours a very pale straw color with a finger of white head that is rather short lived.
S: An intensely spicy nose with a lot of pepper and coriander. Some fruit esters come into the picture as I pick up banana, but otherwise most of the sweetness comes from the malt, which is heavy on the bread and toffee.
T: A pretty similar story on the palate, but more yeast driven. Fruity esters give the beer some pears, apples, and banana but there are a lot of spice notes such as the pepper that I noted on the aroma. Sweet toffee and caramel with a decent amount of bread.
M: The body is pretty light, maybe medium, and the carbonation is quite high.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color, with rocky white head. Bready malt, light banana, earthy, and herbal hops. Clean, refreshing, and nice flavors.
