Just for shits and giggles I checked out the Amigo. Golden colour, with slight amber. Decent bubbly head. Unionmade aroma simply reeks of corn. Quick and bland. Decently made but boring, and even a small glass is a bit painful.
On tap @ Lost Abbey. Pours a pale golden color with a white head. Nose of grain, bread, and fruity esters. Some corn, soap, light floral hops, and mild grass. The flavor is sweet grain and malt. Sample at the Port Brewing/Lost Abbey tasting room. Clear amber-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of grainy malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of biscuit malt and grassy hops. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Average overall.
