My Bottom Line:

Ginger, pineapple and kiwi seep from this Saison’s idiosyncractic profile, dwelling in a dry, tart and effervescent mouthfeel.

Further Personal Perceptions:

-A slice of foam covers the shiny golden haze.

-The citrusy character is complex and unique.

-This would probably kick serious bottom were it bottle-conditioned.

-Drinkability is through the roof.

(En fût à la brasserie): Un assaut vineux qu’on accueille comme un vieil ami accompagné de ses fruits pales et tropicaux. Une faune sauvage ronfle doucement dans ce liquide frais et juteux. La finale est juste assez sèche et est le prolongement de la barrique. Je lis par la suite kiwi? Tout ça est plein de bon sens.

Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so.

On tap at Stone Sour Fest 2014. Hazy yellow pour, with a white head. Bready, yeast, light tart acidity, fruit (must be kiwi), clove, banana, and a bit peppery. Ok

Tap at FWIBF. Pours a slight straw yellow with mild white head. Aroma of pepper , hay, citrus and banana. Taste is a standard saison lemon, grass, bubble gum with no kiwi.

On tap @ Pizza Port Bressi Ranch. Clear straw pour with a white head. Banana, mild acidity, some kiwi, lemon, and yeast. Hints of pepper, clove, and bubblegum. Nice bready malt. Flavor is pleasantly sweet with lots of banana bread and clove. Kiwis, pepper, light bubblegum, and some orange. Not bad.

On tap at PP Ocean Beach. crystal clear straw orange. Dry peppery Belgian notes on the nose, with a touch of fruit. Nice and dry along the palate, with a hint of fruityness.

Draught at Pizza Port, Bressi Ranch, San Marcos. Clear golden beer with a small white head. Perfume aroma, grassy, biscuits, hay, grapefruit, floral, some caramel. Hoppy perfume flavor, grassy, hay, herbal, citrus, grapefruit, grapes, some pine. Nice American style hop-saison.
