Tap @ Solana Beach. Dark brown with a creamy off white head. Nice mixed aroma of coffee, cocoa, toasty malt, and a little bit of funky yeast. Smooth, creamy taste, kind of like a chocolate milkshake with roasted malt. Solana: Dark root beer brown with a cocoa colored cascade on the pour and a light beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate. Flavor srarts with dark semi-sweet chocolate followed by coffee and a lightly bitter finish. Light bodied and watery, but smooth with soft carbonation.
On tap at Liar’s Club. Dark brown with creamy off white head. Chocolate, roasty, yeasty aroma. Smooth creamy palate. Sweet milk chocolate and roasted malt taste with a semi-sweet finish.
