Nice DIPA. Copper orange color, with a strong hoppy aroma and flavor. Probably my favorite sample at Stone’s 14th Anniversary Festival. So good, I went back for seconds. Sean9689 (285) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 26, 2010
Growled shared by Alex (Masterski) by way of the m’fer Shane (HH84). Thanks to both of these guys!
A - Pours copper, large frothy cream-colored head, lots of sticky lacing and a nice thin cap on top. This is how a DIPA should look!
S - DANK as all hell, lots of hops, lesser amount of malts, woah. This one makes my saliva turn into cementl...woah. Sweetness first. Bitter, then more hints of bitterness, topped by a bittery bitter note. Toasted malts. I think this one has it all, impressive.
M - Medium, good carbonation, oily finish.
D - I’m impressed. This kills the RR Registration I recently had and is right up there with Citra. Thanks once again to Alex and Shane!

Very good. One of those that will knock you down if you’re not careful. Very nice malty aroma that leads to a malty taste with a nice hop bitterness to balance out things. Well done. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 15, 2010
GABF 2010. Pours a mostly clear golden with great white head and nice retention. Aroma is big bpoine resin and marijuana, slight sea foam, then tropical pineapple and mango. Flavor is dank old rotting pineapple, weed, light biscuit cracker, and toast, also has an oily dank pineapple-weed oil tincture flavor, very dank, resinous, pine, and grapefruit. Sticky sappy bitterness in the end and still dry. Very good. jsh12bama (681) - Alabama, USA - FEB 12, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. Pours golden with fluffy white head. Huge, creamy mouthfeel. Nice resin hops in the aroma. Citrus hops in the taste. Very good. One of the better beers of my recent SD trip.

Pours a orange with a fizzy white head. Aroma is raw herbal hops citrus malt pine and resin. Flavor is resiny piney hops, grapefruit, citrus, herbal bitterness which overpowers the sturdy malt backbone. No growlers ;( Snojerk321 (2960) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 19, 2010
Tap at port OB. Pours a clear deep golden Orange with a frothy white head that left some great lacing. Lots of resin and bitter citrus hops. Flavor was quite bitter with resiny hops, long bitter finish. Damn tasty. bb (9423) - Alamo, California, USA - MAR 21, 2011
Draft. Amber beer with a big cream colored head. Tropical fruit and grapefruit aroma. Tropical fruit and grapefruit flavor with pine and caramel. Medium bodied. Nice hoppiness. Tropical fruit and pine lingers with caramel. Marheb (5786) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 24, 2016
On tap at Pizza Port Solana Beach. Deep golden color, plenty of lacing with medium carbonation. Robust citrus aroma with grapefruit, orange rind, pine sap and alcohol. Medium malt base, not to sweet or dry. Finishes with strong bitterness and lasting resin flavors. Your typical West Coast DIPA to expect from Pizza Port. Not as good as Poor Man’s though. Very tasty.
