Keg at PP SB, 14/11/14.
Golden with a moderate cream topping that retains well.
Nose is pale malt, light citric notes, straw, bread dough, lemon.
Taste comprises much the same, light orchard, bread, malt.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, smei drying close.
Golden blonde for me, a mediocre/average one at that !!! BlackHaddock (7583) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2014
On my first flight at Pizza Port San Clemente, on 17th July 2014. Came with an orange hue to it’s body, the head a creamy white affair. Aroma was a little bready/biscuity with an apple pie hint. The taste was also apple pie like with those bready malts coming through: I did not take to it at all, nothing like an English Pub Ale (whatever that is) to me. A strange mixture of a weak cider and beer almost: glad I only tried it on a flight. mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - JAN 2, 2014
For a super mild ale this was Great. Extremely drinkable. So flavorful the low AVB. is appropriate. I love the rich bitterness and a small sweet touch in the finish. Great delicious beer! GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Nitro or cask at PPSC. Mild sheety lacing. Clear golden pour. Nose is mild bread, apple. Taste is soapy, apple flavor, chemical flash. Easy to drink by not much to it. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 5, 2013
On tap @ Pizza Port San Clemente. Orange colored pour with a dense, creamy white head. Aroma opens with bread, biscuit dough, and toast. Some sweet apple, floral hops, and a bit of water. Flavor is sweet but watery. Meh mouthfeel. Light hops, some apple, dough, and bread.
