Sampled at Pizza Port with Linh. November 2014. Pours a golden orange body with thin white lacing. Aroma is fresh grapefruit and bitter fruit peel. Having this back to back against the Barney was interesting because both beers were very similar IPAs, except this one’s bittering character was amped up. A bit too much and almost beyond enjoyable - but still a nice IPA offering from the people at PP. callmemickey (4549) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 5, 2014
Golden orange body, medium white head and soapy lacing. Grainy cereals, raw grapefruit, light citrus. Medium to full bodied, semi-sweet, grainy, aggressive bitterness. mcberko (18081) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 11, 2013
On tap at Pizza Port Ocean Beach, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of fruity resinous hops and some dry caramel malts. Flavour is very dry and doesn’t really seek like a fresh hop IPA, full of dry piney hops. Solid stuff, but nothing spectacular. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Growler shared at Woodshop 8. Pours a clear golden, medium white foam. Nose is husky grain, fresh grapefruit juice. Taste is aggressively bitter, husky, oatmeal, sharp grain. Harsh, abusive palate.
