On tap at the Port in Carlsbad. Pretty well played for a dubb, and delicious for sure. Fairly still appearance, on some small bubbles and thin white rings. Extremely opaque brown color. Sweet and tart aroma of yeast, banana and raisins. More fruits in the flavor, notably raisins raisins raisins. Some brown sugar and cocoa, and the bubble gum notes are there. Finishes with a medium body and ample carbonation.

On draft at Pizza Port San Clemente, 02/25/08. Clear brown with modest carbonation. Bubble gum aroma. Tastes like bubble gum with a hint of molasses. Simple and not especially yummy. goldtwins (4319) - Nesconset, New York, USA - FEB 18, 2008
Tap @ Carlsbad: Poured a clear mahogany color with an off-white head. the aroma was fruity with notes of the dark fruits. Somewhat sweet with a chocolate nose on the finish. The flavor had plums and mild raisins on the very end. medium bodied and a semi-dry finish. Some warmth. Very tasty stuff. Snojerk321 (2984) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 13, 2008
On tap @ Pizza Port Carlsbad. Dubbelicious poured a deep translucent amber with a fine tan head. Nose of plums, raisins, caramel and Belgian chocolate. Didn’t quite as much raisin out of it as I thought I would. A great brew over all! BBB63 (6567) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - APR 1, 2007
Tap at Carlsbad: Not a lot of notes so I will be brief...muddy brown with a little head. The aroma is that of Sugar Smack cereal with raisins and dates on top. A hint of clove and juniper as well, very estery and phenolic. The taste is just like the nose with a sweet and fruity character with a major bubblelicious overdrive...I liked the weirdness at first but it tired on the palate. The mouth feel was sticky and soft, chewy and gummy. Pass on this poor example of the style. fordest (2469) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - MAR 27, 2007
Draft at PP Carlsbad after the belgian beer fest. Dark fruit aromas. Classic dubble flavors if not a bit watery. Some bubble gum and more dark fruits. Not bad at all.
