Hoppy aroma that has some dark fruity notes. Medium body with a moderately hoppy character accented by sweet malt, toffee and fruit. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Draft at Stone 14th Anniversary. Dark amber pour, thick off-white head. Caramel, sweet malt, bitter hops, touches of fruit. I thought it was fine, but not overly complex.

I had this on tap at Pizza Port San Clemente. It’s a dark red pour with a dirty white head. The aroma and flavor are of malty sweetness with some nice hops in the background.

On tap at PP Solana. Marked Imperial Red. Pours cloudy red/brown with a medium sized, creamy, offwhite head that leaves good lace. Smells big and red fruity hoppy sweet with a nice balance between the sweet hop notes and some nice sweet malts as well. Tastes the same. Sweet red fruit hops with mild, building bitterness and sweet caramel malts as well. Sweetness lingers. Full body, good carbonation.
