hazy pink color with white head. Hoppy floral, pine fruity, caramel aromas. medium body. Nice floral, pine sap, tropical fruit flavors with a solid pale malt base brew--good pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 20, 2011
On tap at stone... Pours a medium transparent crisp raspberr. Hue and topped with a frothy soapy white head... Aroma is biscuity malt and caramel malt that intertwines with a piney citrus forward hop bent. Not totally complexin any way but a solid almost dipa territory... Flavors are a touch better than the aroma. A lot of crystal and caramel malt it seems, with a sense of booziness throughout to go alongside a citrusy hop profile. Medium to full bodied with a crisp lively level of carbonation. Not bad but I’ve had better port ipas on this trip. peteinSD (1469) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 18, 2011
Pours pink like a light kriek with a thin tan head. Aroma is clean, medium bitterness hops with pine and light citrus. Taste is clean, dry hops, pine, and a tight malt profile with a touch of sweetness on the end. Very good and extremely quaffable IPA. Naven (1000) - Poway, California, USA - OCT 30, 2011
On draft at Sublime Ale House. Light pink/amber color. Almost looks neon in color. As expect, its a total citrus hop bomb, but incredibly easy to drink. Surprised that this was 8.2%. You would never know. Just another awesome beer from PP. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - OCT 18, 2011
Clear bright pinkish orange with a fizzy white head. Tropical fruit citrus and pine aroma and taste with a nice crisp bitterness.

Draught at brewbies. Pink with a big head. Lots of sweet grapefruit and other citrus going on in the aroma. Just enough sweetness to accentuate the hop aromas, but not too much malt flavor. Big hoppy finish but modest bitterness overall. I like how this shows the absurdity of the black IPA trend and kicks ass at the same time. TimE (6074) - Tokyo, JAPAN - APR 28, 2011
lots of blood oranges, moderate bitterness. Some rose pedals. A touch of caramel and crystal malt. Full bodied. Well balanced. Enjoyable. bb (9697) - Alamo, California, USA - MAR 22, 2011
Draft. Reddish/pink beer with a pinkish head. Grapefruit and tropical fruit aroma. Caramel and summer fruit flavor with grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Summer fruit and grapefruit lingers with light malt. jeremytoni (3082) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - MAR 6, 2011
From the tap poured a pink color with a fair amount of head. Hoppy flavor with a lingering finish. BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAR 5, 2011
Sampled @ AZ Strong Beer Fest. Got to give this one props on appearance...vibrant pink body with a cotton candy head. Aroma is extremely bright and floral with sharp citrus pith, orange peel, and mouth-puckering grapefruit finding their way to the tongue. Hop presence is definitely stated loudly but there is a mild caramel sweetness toward the end of the sip. Great cause...great beer!
