Poured at the AZSBF! Pink pour? YEP! Tons of grapefruit peel, grassy notes, resin. Flavor is nice and bitter with just enough malt to balance it out. Great beer for an even greater cause! BOLTZ7555 (3127) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAR 5, 2011
Sampled @ AZ Strong Beer Fest. Got to give this one props on appearance...vibrant pink body with a cotton candy head. Aroma is extremely bright and floral with sharp citrus pith, orange peel, and mouth-puckering grapefruit finding their way to the tongue. Hop presence is definitely stated loudly but there is a mild caramel sweetness toward the end of the sip. Great cause...great beer! elihapa (1554) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - MAR 28, 2013
Pink, clear body with nice rich white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, lemonade. Flavor is cleanly hoppy, with body adding creaminess without weight. Bit of late-middle sweetness that is well integrated, a real pleasure to drink, fresh-squeezed hop juice. papajohn (1340) - San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA - FEB 13, 2011
On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad: Clear pink ambeer color with a small pinkish white head. Sweet citrus aroma. Flavor starts light citrus sweet followed by lots of grapefruit and a lingering grapefruit bitter finish. Medium body is tangy with moderate to lively carbonation. Cheers to the Ta Tas! brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 23, 2011
A: This definitely is pink...a clear dark pink color with a finger of head that is lightly pink as well.
S: A nice big citrus nose on this one. Lots of grapefruit, tangerine, and orange zest. Plenty of pine and a mild tropical fruit aroma to it as well. I don’t really get much, if any, malt aroma to this.
T: The full citrus character carries to the palate. A nice grapefruit bite to the beer as well as plenty of orange. Pine hops provide bitterness and there is a really resinous quality to it. Just a touch of bread/malt flavor.
M: The body is medium with a moderate to high level of carbonation.
D: I was really impressed by this. A much better fit for Pizza Port than the "Brewbies Pink Ale" they did previously.

On tap at the AZ Strong Beer Fest, February 2011. Pours pink with a thin pinkish white head. The nose is ripe citrus, malt and pine. The taste is rart grapefruit, ripe oranges, caramel and resin. Medium bodied. Nice IPA. SamGamgee (2585) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - JUN 26, 2011
Draught at brewbies. Pink with a big head. Lots of sweet grapefruit and other citrus going on in the aroma. Just enough sweetness to accentuate the hop aromas, but not too much malt flavor. Big hoppy finish but modest bitterness overall. I like how this shows the absurdity of the black IPA trend and kicks ass at the same time. peteinSD (1468) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 18, 2011
Pours pink like a light kriek with a thin tan head. Aroma is clean, medium bitterness hops with pine and light citrus. Taste is clean, dry hops, pine, and a tight malt profile with a touch of sweetness on the end. Very good and extremely quaffable IPA. SDalkoholic (2424) - Linda Vista, California, USA - NOV 9, 2012
On tap @ PP Carlsbad: Poured a vibrant glowing pink hue with a soapy topping of foam on top. Aroma is especially fruity and boasts a scent of hops and citrus. The drink is intensely bitter with a nice bite of juicy succulent hops. I absolutely love the name of this beer and the cause behind this beer. nightrider (754) - encinitas, California, USA - FEB 23, 2011
On tap at PP C-Bad. Shaker pint glass with a clear pink brew inside. Very cool and unique obviously. A bit of white head. The aromas were fresh and citrusy of lemon , lime, and grapefruit. Medium bodied. clean and lean flavors with tasty hop flavors and bitter pungency. The finish was on the drier side. Liked it alot !
