growler from a sweet sweet toss by brokensail. grapefruit bitterness. pleasant subtle resin. hop forward nose. toast, light caramel malt backing provides pleasant balance, but lets hops shine. pretty clean. some doughy caramel shines through as it warms impacting the budlight drinkability index. dry enough. does some lifting.

Tap at the brewpub. Clear deep golden. Massive webby lacing. Nose is sharper lemon, sticky candies, cantaloupe, sweet pineapple. Taste is bitter, dusty, quite papery and astringent. Long, drying, papery finish. May not be so fresh but that seems unlikely.
