On cask at Pizza Port. Pour is deep brown, almost black with big tan head for a stout. Aroma is slight vegetable and pepper but mostly chocolate and slight coffee. Taste is intense habanero heat and some minor pepper fruit flavor. The chocolate plays well with the heat but could be upped a bit to really make this work well. Black in color with a thin off-white head. Strong roasted malt aroma, a moderate chile note, and plenty of coffee. A pronounced earthiness, some dark chocolate, and a hint of smoke. The flavor is spicier than expected. Lots of habanero flavor, some earth, smoke, and light fruitiness. Coffee and roasted malt are pronounced, and thereís a hint of bitter chocolate and cocoa.
